It's not often, at least in Huntsville, to come upon a Thai food truck. But Twisted Thai is just that -- and it's a position it carries well! I'd had them on my to-try list for a while. One day last week I saw they'd be stationed at Northrop Grumman while I was working nearby, so I made plans to go grab a meal. They were fairly busy with a bunch of NG employees, but I came towards the end of service and they were still working efficiently. My wait wasn't bad. The menu is fairly large for a food truck and has classic Thai offerings, from curry to Thai basil plates to noodle dishes like pad see ewe and drunken noodles. You can choose your protein for practically any dish: chicken, beef, pork, or shrimp for an upcharge. They even have fancier, more traditional drinks like Thai coffee and green tea. It's an impressive setup for a food truck. I initially asked for an order of red curry, but the lady working the window said they only had green curry that day. I'm not sure if they only run one curry at a time, or if they'd just run out of everything but green. Next, I asked for pad see ewe, but they had run out of noodles. That was a little disappointing, though perhaps it's on me for coming later during service. I ultimately wound up with Thai basil with chicken. It came served with white rice. I also ordered some mango sticky rice for dessert since the season is basically on us for mango! I got a diet soda to drink -- as much as I love Thai tea, I didn't want to gild the lily TOO much. My food came out quickly and was packaged beautifully and very neatly. It was clearly made fresh as it was also very warm! I returned to my car to nosh covertly before returning to work. The Thai basil was good -- it's not my go-to Thai dish, but it was a good bit better than a version I had not long ago at a different restaurant. Pleasantly aromatic, veggies were still crispy, most of the chicken was a good, non-rubbery texture. It went well with the delicate white rice. I forgot to ask for at least a level 2 spicy, which is the one thing I'd change about it -- as it was served to me, it was very mild, and I wanted some kick. I wish someone would've prompted me about spice level when I ordered, but it's ultimately on me. The mango sticky rice was a delicious treat as always. This version was served with a purple-y colored rice rather than white. It didn't taste much different to me, but the color was pretty. My mango still had a few slightly sour bites but it was mostly great, and that's not their fault anyway. The rice itself was still warm and delightfully, subtly sweet. I'd definitely patronize this truck again. Would love to try a curry or a noodle dish someday in the future, though I enjoyed my meal enough that I'd also order it again!

สวัสดี ทุกคน. Hello foodies! Stopped by this place on a whim and I’m glad I did. I got the red curry Thai hot but I would not recommend if you’re not used to Thai food 😂😂 It was delicious. It was totally different than any other red curry I’ve had… that’s a good thing. I think from now on I will use sweet potatoes in my red curry. The spring rolls were different had a slight banana taste. I do wish she would’ve made it Thai hot but hopefully next time she will make. Overall Super sweet staff! Love it! แล้วพบกันใหม่ Later foodies

Just discovered this jewel tonight! So awesome that we get this kind of quality Thai food from a food truck in Madison, AL! It’s located in the parking lot of Madison Mercantile just East of Walmart in Madison. My first impressions were the really nice people and the immaculately clean kitchen/truck. I had a good feeling and it did not disappoint! So good! We had the Chicken Massaman, Pad Thai, and Chicken Fried Rice. Highly recommend checking this place out and supporting this little truck! We will definitely be back (a lot)!

I have tried to give this place so many places as there aren't many Thai options around the area but the service is absolutely awful.

They have items on their new menu they dont carry but will not take it down for whatever reason. I called an order in and waited over the time they said to pick up and they did not have it ready. They in fact had my order written down and just never prepared it and when they finally made it, they asked did i ask for certain things that they shouldve already asked about since its now prepared!

This has happened several times where a mushap happens and they never apologize and don't seem to care. Seems like they get more business now so they don't care about customers.

Also pad thai is better if you ask for spice level higher. Other than that, food is not bad but definitely not food truck price. Might as well sit at a restaurant...

I wanted to like this food truck so much because I think it’s a very clever idea! I love Thai food and though their menu is minimal they had the basic curry and pad Thai… I bought the Thai Fire rice with shrimp and Masaman Curry with chicken , Thai American spring roll and a Thai Tea, which cost a whopping $33! I can honestly say I didn’t enjoy any of it… nothing had flavor it didn’t even have salt they did make it spicy though it still needed additional Thai chili flakes the Thai tea was so sweet I could only drink to sips of it. I would say the ingredients and service was spot on but it was way over priced and zero flavor makes this a massive fail. There are way to many Thai restaurants that you can pay less get more food and really enjoy food, I definitely won’t be back. I do hope the...
