We had Zee as our waitress. That is the name she wrote down with an attitude when I asked for it. She didn't even had a tag with her name on it. The worst experience ever! Took our order wrong, and then had the nerve to say it was not what we told her. When the rest of the people in our table confirmed what we had said. Her response was very unprofessional. My husband's food came out first and incomplete. By the time the rest of the breakfast came to the table my husband was done. That's how long we waited for our breakfast which was also incomplete. There were other issues as well. She fouled up the order and had the nerves to go to her manager to make it seem like it was our fault. He was not much better. He defended her. I understand there can be harsh customers but that was not our case. If there was a degree to become a waitress or technical school this is where she needs to go. Customer Service makes a place, a restaurant. That is who builds the atmosphere for a good or bad outing. The WORST, WORST, WORST customer service. If I could give a negative for customer service, that is exactly what I would it had done. I treat people like I like to be treated. The way we were treated, I would have never done that to others. The food was fine but like I had mentioned, customer service the WORST. First time here and this is going to be the last. So much for southern hospitality! We should it had looked at the reviews before coming to this place. Another thing, there were six of us but with separate checks which we told her before ordering. The waitress explained to us if we were paying together there was going to be added an 18% gratuity because we had six people. When she brought each the check, we noticed we each had the 18% gratuity. When we asked, she came with a different story. Now, she decided to add the 18% to each check because six people were seated. The first check was for four people, and the second check was for two. If it was going to be that way we would it had paid everything all together. In the end, she received two different checks with two different 18% gratuity. Over all she received a good tip for the WORST CUSTOMER...
Read moreIf I could give them no stars I would. I purchased an order online during business hours and when I got there they were closed. The next day I called to tell them what happened and that I needed a refund. The manager on duty told me that he could not refund my money and that the owner had to. He gave me the owners number and when I would call it would ring once and go to a busy signal. I had to physically go to IHOP because they would not answer the phone. When I got there to verify I was calling the right number I was told that I was. I told him to call and the same thing happened to him. I was then told he was out of town. When asked who was covering for the owner I was told no one he is the owner. I told the manager that in the event that there are issues you cannot handle someone should be available to do so. He stated the owner's son in Mississippi could assist. The then got on the phone with who he said was his boss and explained the situation and said that 2 employees walked out and closed the store on the day we placed our order online. He took my name and number and I left the email receipt of our order and was told he would take care of it. Needless to say I never received a refund. I called back at the end of the week and spoke to a different manage who said he cannot refund me and that the manager over online orders had to. He asked me to text him my order number and name and said he would work on it later because he was currently working. I sent him a screenshot of the email receipt and He to never did anything about it. I had to call my bank to file a dispute because this IHOP refused to refund me my money and has managers who can not handle customer issues when they arise. I have chosen to leave out the names of the 2 managers that I spoke to as well as the owners name but did provide all names and numbers that I was given to my bank's fraud department. They will never receive my business again. I will drive out of my way to a different IHOP if I ever decide I want to eat there which thankfully is few and far between. Save yourself the trouble and and call before you place an online order or just go elsewhere. I...
Read moreThe worst experience we have had At an ihop. The food was decent, typical for an ihop but the service and treatment were really bad. They were not busy, only a few tables occupied. The two waitresses argued in front of us as to who had to wait on our table. The waitress then took our order but looked around the entire time she was taking the order, completely disinterested. She put the order in wrong. My husband ordered wheat pancakes which he never received. I ordered a cinna stack with mine. I received two regular pancakes. When I told her my husband never got his pancakes and mine was wrong, she went to the kitchen without saying anything. She came back and said they already made the two pancakes and would have to charge us to remake them. Mind you, she put the order in wrong and my husband still didn’t get his pancakes. When I explain this to her again she said she had to wait for her manager to come back. I gave my husband the plain pancakes and waited for the cinna stack. 20 min later when we were done eating, the manager finally comes in, looks at us but won’t come to the table, goes to the kitchen and hides. When we asked to speak to him she said he is cooking because we don’t know where the cook went. He still refused to come out. He took $3 off the bill. They over charged us on my sons meal by $6. The whole time the waitress is standing in the corner not far from our table discussing us with the other waitresses. When I tried to explain to her why we were upset all she did was look over my head and around the room with a smile on her face and repeating, I brought your pancakes I brought your pancakes. She did bring pancakes but they were someone else’s. The manager finally made the pancakes 20 min after we were done eating which we refused because we had been sitting there for 20 min after finishing the meal. The manager never would come out of the kitchen. When we asked for the managers name she said it’s Muhammad but I don’t know his last name. Worst ihop experience ever, will never go back. I know good employees are hard to find these days but I can’t imagine how this girl got past...
