Didn’t actually get to try any donuts. Pulled into the place, most of the lights were off. Was wondering if they were closed, they were open. The lights were just burned out. Staff was unfriendly. I guess we were inconveniencing their conversation with our hunger. No greeting, just said ask “Donuts?”. We made our selection then see the tiny old piece of paper in the register that said cash only. Well darn we don’t have cash. So she said to just drive over there and get cash while giving a tone that we were the dumbest people in the world. So it’s 2024…how do you not have a credit card reader? Read moreWe have been coming to the Donut Shop for many years. This year I went last week twice. The prices I was charged for 6 donuts was not worth it. Plus it cost extra for the filled donuts and not all of the cream donuts I received had any filling at all. Since they were closed I couldn’t even go in to talk to the girl. If you travel into town and stop here, you will find that these donuts are better than the average chain, but they are not as rich tasting as other mom and pop shops.
