River Monster Tours, llc — Attraction in Huron

We saw this advertised on Facebook and decided to venture here from Canton. Overall we liked the trip and our captain was very informative as well as the young man on the dock. The one complaint is that the seating was awkward, we had to sit backwards from where we were going, and uncomfortable. We had to reposition ourselves often and were in the direct sun on a very hot day that made it uncomfortable. Suggestion would be to remodel the boat or not put so many guests on to where some have to sit in the direct sun. Other than that we loved seeing the river and the water birds and eagles. River Monster Tours was one of the best family experiences we had on our trip to Ohio! The owner and his beautiful family have really created a unique business that entertains, educates, and provides serenity. The (pontoon) boat we rode on was beautifully maintained, the seating was unique & plentiful, and the tour guidance was funny & informative. We were able to see several Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Egrets, playful fish, etc. This boat was safe, punctual, and you can drink alcohol on it! Does it get any better than that?! Our tour of the Huron River was awesome. Captain John pointed out wildlife and taught us about the river's history and the business' namesake. The tour/boat ride was a lot of fun and a great deal.

Booking online was super easy and we found our way to the dock relatively easily. We lucked out and were the only two on the boat on a Saturday morning, but there's plenty of space on the boat so had more people been there, it would've still been an excellent experience.
