Searched on Google maps for a gluten free restaurant and this was one of the options. After reading wonderful reviews, we decided to give it a try. Honestly we thought it was going to be a Romano’s Macaroni Grille but we’re happy to see it was not. This place was established in 1963. I can see why it has been open for over 50 years. Everything from the bread to the pasta was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Fresh, homemade, made from scratch taste. They have so many gluten free options and you can even build your own gluten free pasta! They serve delicious bread and brought out gluten free crackers for my bestie who is gluten free. I got the seafood pasta in Alfredo sauce, my bestie got the same but with their parmigiana cream sauce and held the shrimp. My husband got the sweet and spicy sausage pasta. I had the Caesar salad, my husband had the house salad with French and my bestie got the celery seed dressing with her house salad. I saved this place on Google maps and will be eating here every year after Colossalcon from here on out. I didn’t take pictures of the bread or salads but I snapped pictures of the main entrees

To start, the inside of this restaurant is beautiful and makes you feel like you've stepped into a little Italian village. It has a very open and warm comforting atmosphere that is quite elegant. We were quickly greeted and seated and served fresh bread and butter with a dish of seasoned olive oil with parmesean in it (absolutely delicious for bread dipping) Our server was extremely kind and attentive and answered all our questions we had about a few different menu items and drink options and was also knowledgeable about their wine selection. We had the mushroom pita bread appetizer and for our dinners we had lasagna and Diablo Shrimp marinara with angel hair pasta (not listed on the menu) and it was phenomenal and the portion size was perfect (though I saved and brought some home for later to savor it lol ) I will definitely be returning and suggesting this place to all I know. They also have like a banquet room you can reserve and a very nice bar if you want to stop in and order food to go and have a drink (and their delicious bread) while you wait. Thanks Marconis and staff for a wonderful evening

Arriving at Marconi’s road full parking lot on a Friday night had me concerned we wouldn’t be able to get a seat, but we were greeted and seated kindly and quickly. The menu has so many delightful sounding options and although I only had the pleasure to enjoy what my partner and I ordered, I am sure everything on the menu was divine. With that being said, I have to recommend the manicotti or the seafood pasta, both were so flavorful, fresh, and excellent. Our server, Jessica, was extremely knowledgeable about not only the menu, but the history of Marconi’s itself, and the area as well. Her joyful disposition and understanding definitely made the visit even better. The flavor of the food is fresh and authentic, and I am so glad to have gotten to experienced the magic that is Marconi’s.

We had a fantastic date night here on 11/5. My husband and I got drinks, appetizers, mains, and dessert (by which I mean we ordered dessert, and I ate most of it). All were amazing! Easily the best restaurant experience I had in recent memory.

First off, Kate was our server, and she was fantastic. She was able to offer specific suggestions about the wine list, and help us pick things that I can safely eat (I have celiac disease, so no gluten for me). She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and even checked a few questions that I had for a future visit, just so I knew what I could safely eat. She was on top of everything, and so kind and thoughtful. Thank you, Kate, for an amazing experience!

Their house white wine was lovely, and my husband enjoyed his cocktail. I didn't realize until we left that we got a happy hour discount, which was nice. I thought the wine was well priced, and I liked the amount of variety on the menu. Would gladly try some other options next time!

As for the meal, I was pleasantly surprised about the sheer variety of options I could safely eat. Obviously no bread, but the gluten free crackers were a nice touch, and I really appreciated that they carry them. We got the mussels and shrimp as appetizers, and both were amazing. The sauce the shrimp were served in was absolutely divine! I really liked having those crackers to scoop up the sauce, and I bet diners without dietary restrictions could make good use of some bread here.

For entrees, we chose the chicken piccata and beef tips. Both came with a salad, which was nice and simple. I saw other reviews brought up bagged lettuce, but both of ours had a nice amount of mixed greens, so I don't know if they've changed their ingredients, but the lettuce we got was of good quality, and tasted fresh. The house Italian dressing was delicious, with a solid cheesy flavor, but a bit on the salty side. Would still order it again, but I'd be a little conservative with the amount I used (dressing was served on the side, which I like). Chicken piccata was good (love me some capers!), but the beef tips were the real winner here! Great char on the beef, plenty of onions and mushrooms, and so much flavor! We ordered them with the mashed potatoes, which were perfect. The gluten free pasta we got with the chicken was well cooked, but I think I'd go for the potatoes again. They had multiple different sauces that were gluten free -- I can't wait to try them all!

We also got dessert, which was a chocolate cake of some kind. I really liked the caramel drizzle it was served with -- it was a little less sweet, and gave the whole dessert some real dimension. And, I mean, just having any dessert available that's gluten free won my Celiac heart over without a fight.

Basically, my review is so long because I've been thinking about this meal since we've left. We already have plans to come back, and I'm counting the days. Thank you, Marconi's, and thank you, Kate! Can't wait to...

We are Marconi Reward Members. We have enjoyed our food and service over many years. However, on July 2nd we had a terrible experience. We wanted to celebrate our son’s birthday at Marconi’s so called ahead to explore the precautions being taken and what options we had. Since we had a party of 14, we totally understood when the kind, young man with whom we spoke explained that because of Covid-19, we would have to separate as they couldn’t seat a group larger than 10. I explained we had some members of our party who would prefer to eat outside. He explained that he couldn’t take reservations for the patio. He, then, volunteered to make a reservation for 14 inside the restaurant. When we arrived, he explained, they would seat as many as were comfortable inside and those who wanted to sit on the patio could wait their turn for an available table. I thanked him for taking our reservation. I called back to confirm our reservation. When we got to Marconi’s, we were told that our reservation for inside was not made and that a table was not available as promised. That group had to wait for almost 30 minutes. There were available tables on the patio for those who preferred to eat outside but each time we asked the older woman hostess about them, we were told a different reason for not being seated. After 40 minutes, the hostess gave a third reason for not seating us blaming us for the delay. We told her we were leaving and she followed us out of the restaurant loudly yelling at us. She appeared more anxious to argue with us in a condescending manner than to seat us. We will not return to Marconi’s as long as she...
