Lisa's Chicken #23 — Restaurant in Hurst

This is 3rd time I went to this location. All 3 times I had to ask for my drink. Tonight I went through drive-thru and ordered a 3 piece white meal and an extra roll. I pay and the bag felt light so to be courteous to the car behind me I moved out of drive thru and looked i only had 2 pieces the rolls were covering them so I didn't know which 2 pieces. I go back through the drive thru and told him I ordered a 3 piece white and got 2 pieces of. Chicken. He proceeds to tell me I have to pay 3 dollar and something extra for a 3rd piece I said why its only a dollar more on menu. He argued with me so I left. I get home and my 3 piece white is now 2 pieces a leg and thigh. The whole plate was colder than my child drink they gave me. The mashed potatoes and okra was cold. The non white 2 pieces of chicken was so cold you could taste the cold grease. The plate was so cold it tasted like it had been sitting out an hour it was AC temperature. At this point I fed it to my dog. If they would stop laughing and making fun of customers, of which they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for customers, and do their job.. In general the food is okay. I live about a two miles away from the restaurant. I only discovered it over the summer. I thought I would go there more frequently. I recalled after today's visit why I don't. They are Unforgivably SLOW. I was the only customer and I waited over 10 minutes for my order. Also their fries are horrible. It's like they've taken frozen fries dumped them in oil just long enough to barely cook. They aren't salted or seasoned. They're are simply terrible. I went back knowing there would be awake even though once again I was the only person in the drive-thru. I ordered onion rings as a side to my comp meal. I recently visited Lisa's Chicken, and I must say, the food and atmosphere are impeccable. I love everything about their menu—it offers a wide variety, from fried fish to fried chicken, chicken tenders, and even shrimp. Every dish I've tried has been delicious.

However, I've noticed a recurring issue during my Sunday visits. There's always someone at the drive-thru who seems to be in a sour mood. While I understand that working under pressure can be challenging, it does impact the overall experience. I believe a revamp of their customer service approach could make a significant difference.
