Target — Local services in Hurst

I had to change my 5 Stars due to an experience I recently had. I'm normally the person that praises on Google instead of write a bad experience, but here I am. Hoing I will be able to change my star rating in the future. I was emptying me cart as I had no the top and bottom occupied with check out items. As I was almost done unpacking the top cart to start unpacking the bottom, I got asked to pull up as the lady checking me out seemed rushed to get the stuff in my cart and me out of the way. I said I wasn't done grabbing the stuff out of the bottom and I'd be right there. She seemed agitated she had to hit pause for a few seconds. Mind you no one was behind me, so I wasn't taking up anyones time unloading my cart. Not one word was said to me like normal when I'm in line with the other awesome Target personnel. At the end there was a six pack of cupcakes that needed to be scanned. Although I'm sure it was done on purpose, I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt... WHO in the world turns a cupcake container UPSIDE DOWN to scan them?! The icing was in the top of the container after she scanned it and then got huffy when I told her I wasn't going to pay for the cupcakes she turned upside down. She looked at them and told me "They're not that bad." Like what. They're was still no one behind us during this, so I said I'd be back because I had to grab a new set. I was pushing the cart forward to get it out of the way and I was then told I had to pay for the cart and the cupcakes she messed up. I knew that was the only six pack, so why would I had paid for something that I'm not receiving? Checked out after coming back, and then got home. Started unpacking and she put two boxed items in with hot dog buns. Who does that? I'm not sure if she was on her period, something personal, had to use the bathroom really bad, but Jessica needs to be re-teained on bagging and how to handle baked goods when scanning. I've never had anyone treat me the way she did, in all of years; which is several, that I've gone to Target and I hope to never have it happen again. I love all of the employees I've encountered over the years. They are all very friendly, helpful, and have the best smiles, but that visit rubbed me wrong.

Now I had to change my review again... At Target right now and yet another incident with this location. Now sure what's going on here, but my last couple of encounters have not...

One of the managers at this location is terrible. I have dealt with her a lot. Once for a price check, once bc the self check out register froze, once bc i needed assistance finding an item, etc. Just misc things dating back probably a year or more. Her customer service sucks. She always has an attitude and even the way she speaks to other associates is insane. I have reported her to someone before bc she was making fun of an associates accent and then was mimicking a customer who was complaining about an online order or something along those lines. Ive also witnessed her saying she wasnt answering anymore calls bc she was sick of people that day and refused to help with pick up orders when they were behind. I have soooo much to share about her. My 7 year old even said "ur not very nice" several months back so she just walked away. This past monday she told another associate who i think said her name was lala to assist me with my exchange and was talking down to her and demanding she do it. She had mentioned she didnt know anything about sales bc she had just returned from vaca or her weekend off or something when we were talking about tax free weekend. Another girl from the glade park location by the name of i think amber had even asked her to hold a few items for me and i would come on my lunch break. She told me she didnt hold anything as she doesnt have time for things like that and the items were then unavailable and she said it wasnt her problem. In the past she had refused to give me her name but on another occasion told me her name was savanna but recently i heard someone i think call her mariah. But shes a female manager with brown hair. Like i said ive had several interactions and had multiple observations of her. I highly suggest asking other associates what its like working with her to verify what I am saying as I am sure u dont want to take just my word for it but she is not a good representation of target. She clearly is just there for a paycheck. Ive kept my cool bc ive always had my son but if theres a next time im certainly going to speak up. If need be I am more than happy to speak to someone about my interactions if u feel it is necessary. If it werent for her the rating...

The Asian worker named Solomon who was working tonight around 10pm in the electronic section was so incredibly rude to me. I was buying a Nintendo switch and he started talking to me about a red card. I told him I was scared about getting one because I'm so young and I told him I wasnt interested. He then started explaining how it's not scary and I should get one. Then he asked me if I knew what interest was, and then asked me if I knew what credit was and became very condescending and was talking to me like I was dumb. At this point I told him with a chuckle, "Look solomon I just wanna buy a switch haha" and he said, "That's not how you say my name" I looked at his name tag again and it said, "Solomon" and he said "I dont know" and pointed at his name tag which clearly said solomon.... I dont know why he did this. He then went on more about trying to teach me about interest and credit and at this point I gave up and just started agreeing with him so he'd back off being so mean. I let him finish talking about everything he knew and he told me the total of my item. I'm a little slow with counting so I took a while counting my twenties. He looked at me and said, "I can count them. How many do you have?" And I said, "wait let me just try to count them first" he then started counting them in his head and I could hear him. We got different numbers and he took my money and pointed at the 20s counting "1 2 3 4..." and so on and said "you have --- amount of twenties" as if I were dumb... I had a really horrible experience and my face felt hot when I left... I felt like I was going to cry... I hope you're reading this target, you gotta have a talk with the tall Asian young guy named solomon. He also wore glasses and had his hair...
