Came here today on 1/14 around 2:30PM, the place is tucked away on Harwood Rd. As soon as you walk in, everything is Hawaii and pineapple themed, along with the jams playing. Since we found this place on Yelp, everything looked so good we didn’t know what to order. The very nice lady at the front counter offered suggestions as well as answered all of our questions. She was from Hawaii so I trusted her judgment, and asked her if this was her favorite Hawaiian food place. She said yes because it was the most authentic. I asked her what her favorite was and she said the mixed plate with crispy garlic chicken and teri beef, so we ordered a plate of that. We also ordered the Lava fries and they had a Teriyaki Tuesday special going on, and I do love my specials so I had to give that a try! The first thing we dipped our forks into was their Mac salad, and my bf really liked it. He said it tasted authentic, and I agreed. It wasn’t your typical refrigerated Mac salad but authentic like it’s made every morning, especially the texture of it. The Lava Fries were also bomb, the teriyaki beef on the fries were very flavorful and tender, and the crinkle fries was the cherry on top because it retained its crispness. The teriyaki chicken was good as well, I enjoyed the charred flavors seared into the chicken. The crispy garlic chicken wings were really good, I could smell the garlic as she was bringing my food to the table. I loved that they served a pineapple slice with everything. And they had a good selection of beverages and desserts. I didn’t get to try their desserts this time but for sure looking forward to it next time. My bf had their pineapple soda, which I tried and thought it was tasty and not syrupy which is how I prefer my sodas. They have a bus out in front of their place so they might offer catering but I forgot to inquire. Overall, we can’t wait to come back and try other menu items! We enjoyed our food and the service was great, loved that she took the time to come to our table to check on us and talk to us about Hawaii a bit. We appreciated that. They also had a spam wall that was...

This was our 1st time here, and my wife and I will DEFINITELY be back! We started with the Kalua Pork fries, and absolutely destroyed them. The pork was so tender, and flavorful... Lest not forget how the BBQ sauce, cheese, and red onion tied it all together and made the dish fantastic 🤤. For the entrees, we had the mix plates, Me: Teriyaki Beef & Garlic chicken Wife: Teriyaki Chicken & Garlic Chicken The garlic chicken was fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had the right amount of garlic during each bite. The Teriyaki Chicken & Beef was so tender, super tasty, and not overpowering like some places prepare their dishes, just drenching it with sauce. It was just so well balanced and marinated overall. We had sides of sticky rice, and the Mac salad, and lemme tell you something... I could've had just the Mac Salad alone, and I'd be fine. It's that good! There's a certain saltiness to it, but that's the addictive part of it. Trust me, you'll see what I mean when you have it. Not pictured : SPAM Musubi I apologize for not adding the picture of the Musubi, but it was made fresh, and hot, that I ate it so damn fast before realizing I didn't snap a pic. MY BAD. 🤷‍♂️😂🤦‍♂️ Overall, this place is one you must try, if you're into Polynesian food, and support local businesses. The service is top notch (all our food was out quickly... Like within 10min), the place is super laid back, casual, and the background music was at a perfect volume, making you feel like you're back in the islands. Thank you Pineapple Grill Texas for the great dining experience, and we'll see you again soon....

Authentic Island Flavors and Exceptional Service from Pineapple Grill Food Truck! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Pineapple Grill Food Truck at our recent company picnic! Despite the threat of rain looming over our event, Pomai and her team showed up with smiles on their faces and ready to serve. Feeding 150 people is no small feat, but Pineapple Grill Food Truck handled it effortlessly, leaving everyone feeling like they had just been transported straight to the islands with every delicious bite. Their food was not only delicious but also incredibly flavorful, capturing the essence of the Pacific Islander cuisine perfectly. What truly sets Pineapple Grill apart, however, is their unparalleled customer service and genuine aloha spirit. Pomai went above and beyond to ensure that our event was a success, not only helping me reserve her truck but also connecting me with members of the Pacific Islander community who became invaluable partners for our event. Many of the vendors introduced to us by Pomai contributed to making our picnic truly unforgettable. The aloha way of life truly shines through in all aspects of Pineapple Grill Food Truck. I felt incredibly lucky and grateful to have Pomai and her team serve ours for this event, and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for delicious food served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Pineapple...
