Ordered online using the website. Food came out fast after we arrived and checked in. Order was missing the free cheeseburger with purchase redeemed online (likely user error). Was told it couldn’t be honored without placing another order because the store and online promotions are not affiliated. Okay, annoying but understandable. Then discovered two of the other burgers ordered were not correct and did not match the order receipt taped to the bag. Asked for the order to be corrected and for the free cheeseburger to be added since the order was wrong - not unreasonable. Received a lot of push back about my request to add the cheeseburger from the shift manager - a lot. Asked to return the entire order for a refund so I could just go somewhere else. Was told they could not, I would have to request it through customer service online. Not wanting to deal with a delayed refund I waited for the corrected order. Once the order was corrected and brought to the car, the shift manager said the general manager had okayed the free burger so they could make it now. This is after being there 20 minutes and just receiving the corrected order. I waited for the burger and left. Will not return. However, I will say that the shift manager Araceli remained calm and professional even when the interaction was tense and I was rude. She apologized for the trouble and long wait. It seemed like she had little flexibility to make customer service related decisions (like throwing in a free burger to a screwed up order) since she had to contact the GM about it. Read moreWe placed and were billed for an order on the app. When we arrived at this store, they informed us that their system was down. We asked if our order had come through before it went down. The manager said that he would look and send someone out if there was an issue. When no one came out, we pushed the button to ask about the order. The manager was incredibly rude, huffed at us asking the question, and disconnected the speaker. When he came out, we asked for clarification and asked for a refund. He refused to answer any questions and walked away. We asked for corporate’s phone number and he told us to look it up online. When we asked for the store number, he said he to look it up. He then went inside and locked the door. We went to the door to see if we could talk and get the information we needed. He locked the door and looked at us as seen in the picture. When we left, the manager and all of the staff were staring at us through the window. As we pulled out of the stall, he came over the speaker and said “Bye”.
This manager is very unprofessional, rude, and immature. He has no business being a manager or working in the service industry.

While watching TV, my mom had a sudden desire to have the burger that they were promoting at a discounted price, I believe it was the double cheeseburger. Obviously, they never look as the ones on the commercials, and even though it was good, it had a weird taste that I’ve never had from sonic.
Overall, the times I’ve been to sonic, their burgers have been really good.
The issue I have is that, even though Sonic may be one of the fast food chain restaurants that I’ve been to the least, surprisingly, they have the highest amount of errors on my order. This time, even though I requested onion rings, I was given some sort of jalapeños (I believe Fried or filled jalapeño poppers or similar). They were OK, yet it was not what I was expecting nor ordered.
They clearly have to have an issue with their order system, system processes, or best practices on how they do business as this is not normal. I’ve been to sonic an estimate of 10 times and I clearly recall at least five or six times orders being incorrect.
