Country Donuts — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Great little shop on the way into town. Stopped by to check it out for the 1st time and it's great. I try to judge by two things, their breakfast sandwiches and the bearclaws/apple fritters. These guys got their stuff together. Not a huge selection but got the basics and they're good! Breakfast sandwich was great! Good fluffy croissant and egg, sausage and cheese all went out to the edge of the bread! The apple fritter was crispy on the outside, but melted in your mouth as the inside was perfect and the little pieces of apple were plentiful. To top it off they put a couple extra donut holes in the bag, and they were little bites of heaven. I've visited alot of the don't shops in the area. Definitely the best donut shop around! I have been ordering the “happy birthday” donuts for 3 years and they never disappoint. A few days ago I called to place the birthday donut order and asked if she could do Fortnite theme, she told me she would try and I told her it’s ok if you can’t whatever will work. When I picked up the next day I was truly impressed with what she put together. I can tell she put a lot of time and effort into those donuts and wanted to please her customer. This is honestly the best donut shop in all of Fort Worth. My favourite thing on the menu is the jalapeño sausage dogs. When you least expect it, they are loyally open to serve their customers. The owner is so generous that when we came to the shop during the winter storm today, he checked on us to make sure that we were okay. My husband was scraping the ice off the car when the owner told him that he needs hot water and then proceeded to go and bring us hot water. Awesome.
