McDonald's — Restaurant in Hutchinson

Normally my husband and I frequent but industry standards in inflation have made their usual cost for a meal ridiculous for the quality. I understand they changed some things but not enough to warrant this much of an inflation. It's not the fault of the workers. The workers are often very kind and we usually say hello to Patrick every time we come in. However with industry standards and inflation as high as it is for even just one sandwich. We think we will stay home more often. Just for a bonus comment: the sandwiches usually appear slapped together and the order is rarely correct as I have to modify for an allergy. Fast is good but fast and efficient is better. Please coach staff to double check the orders on the screen and tickets before going out to the customer especially in drive thru. This helps prevent unwarranted and accidental allergic reactions for those that have them and ensure customer satisfaction when the correct order goes to the correct customer.

It was not even a busy time of day, 2 cars in the lot, a single pick-up in drive thru ahead of us. A car drove up on the other drive thru and finished ordering before the truck I front of us (May or may not have been the cashier error) and still took another 5 minutes to finish giving her order. We were ordering 3 sodas only, a Sprite, a Coke, and a diet Dr Pepper, we still day on line even tho there are 2 pick up windows, they have a couple bags and one happy meal to the truck in getting of us, who then pulled forward to the 2nd pick up window. We paid and were given our sodas. Two of which neither tasted now smelled like what was ordered, when we asked for them to be corrected we got so much attitude from the cashier, I first thought she was joking... she was not. Apparently we were messing up her timing on her drive thru completion timing, even tho the truck I front of us took 25 minutes to serve. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS MCDONALD'S AGAIN. Ordered breakfast at 8am on a Saturday morning. Went to pick it up and bring home. When home, the food had a funky smell to it…Smokey smell. I figured it was just an unclean grill or something. Which has happened before, my sausage will taste like bacon at times. I shouldn’t have done this, but I Took a bite, and all I could taste was cigarette. As if someone had just smoked, not washed their hands, and then handled my food with no gloves. It tasted as if I had just smoked the cigarette myself with cheese wrapped around it. Both items that were ordered tasted like a cigarette. This isn’t the first time something tasted off from this establishment like I mentioned earlier. Most of the food we get there, I can taste the other food items on my burger or chicken sandwich. Which tells me they don’t clean their grills either. So. I’m done. I can understand one mistake, but this is multiple cross contaminations and a health hazard cuz dude. We were gagging. It...
