I ordered two pizzas this evening from Domino's to be delivered at 10:29 PM. One medium cheese pizza and a medium ultimate pepperoni pizza. Simple order. The driver delivered an order to my home at 11:20 PM which was not my order at all. It was an order for someone else in my neighborhood. I called at 11:23 PM and spoke with someone at the store who called the driver and then told me they were sending the driver back out to swap the orders. I questioned why they go pick up the order from the other person's house and bring it to me. I was told by the employee that the person whose order I got said "they didn't open the pizza when they knew it wasn't theirs." I waited an hour and then called the store at 12:17 am (which is 13 minutes before this store closes) and was left on hold. Now I'm out the money (plus tip obviously) that I paid for the pizzas and someone else's Domino's order sitting in my fridge.
For starters, why exactly would you go to someone's house and pick up a food order after it has already been in their house and bring it to where it's supposed to go? And how exactly do I get my money back for the order that I never received so that I can just go back to getting pizza from Papa John's? At least the order actually arrives.
Follow Up: After reaching out to the owners via email, I received a call back from the district manager as well as the store manager apologizing profusely for the issues. Additionally, the local storage manager worked to have the charges refunded for the food and offered to replace my order for free at a later date. Finally, this episode was placed as being issues with staffing that the store is working to address. I appreciate the attempt to make things right even if it's after the fact. We have not ordered from this location since this issue...
Read moreOrder missing items and food, and assistant manger Loren was rude. We ordered for pickup since delivery was 2 hours and app said pickup would be available in 30 minutes. Went to the store and was told it would be another hour but they could expedite the order and it would still be 20 minutes. So 20 minutes later we picked up the order and came home. After getting home and looking at food, the meat on philly cheesteak was only on half and barely any meat on that half. I had to move the meat around to try and get a few slices on the other half of the sandwich. Also we paid extra for dipping sauce for the pizza and didn't get it.
I then called the store to let them know about the mess up and was directed to Loren, the assistant manager. When I told her about the order she said "well we expedited your order didn't we." I said, actually no the app said 30 minutes and we arrived about 35 minutes so it wasn't expedited, and she said again, when we arrived they were behind and thus it was expedited. I then asked to speak with the manager and she said "You can't speak with him, he doesn't have time so call back another day. His name is Rick". I asked about the quality of the food and order and she said again, "well we expedited your order so you should be glad for that."
I agree with the other reviews they have clearly gone downhill over the past year and just not in quality of food but in their lack...

Take the most recent order for example. Placed delivery order at 12:12pm with a delivery time between 1:12pm and 1:28pm. Called to check on the order around 1:45pm (already 30 minutes late). After being on hold for 10 mins I was told that my order was scheduled to go out around 30 minutes later. So I waited. 45 minutes later when the order still hadn’t arrived and there was still no update on the pizza tracker I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes yet again. So now we’re over an hour late on the delivery. The kicker here is our order came out the oven at 12:42pm according to their pizza tracker. (Quality control check by Rick) so the entire time our order has just been sitting under warmers at the store. So much for fresh food. Who wants pizza and wings that have been chilling under a warmer?
