Ricardo's Tacos & More — Restaurant in Hutto

I really hate the idea of writing a negative review for a local place, but the amount of errors we’ve had as of late warrants it.

We used to come here three to four times a month and I always raved about the breakfast tacos. As of late, things have gone super south. They’ve messed up our order every single time for the last few months: pay for beans, they forget the beans, pay for potatoes, they forget the potatoes, ask for sausage, get bacon. My partner says the bacon on the breakfast tacos is basically inedible so that also sucks. This is annoying, but not the biggest deal breaker. I don’t eat meat and on multiple occasions they’ve put bacon in my tacos. They recently did this again and we called to get it rectified because we paid for vegetarian tacos and they were filled with meat. They told us there was nothing they could do right then but to come in the following morning - which we did.

Their resolution was for us to buy more tacos at a 30% discount. It’s honestly just really poor customer service and management. Don’t place orders over the phone and check your tacos before you leave the store if you actually want what...

Update..2.27.2022 husband ordered 6 tacos to go. Asked for hot sauce and was told he can only have 2. Husband said well I have 6 tacos. That's not enough salsa. Then the employee said only 2 hot sauces PER BAG!!! What??? That makes no sense. I told my husband to tell the employee to put each taco in a separate bag then!!🙄😬 the prices have already gone up. Should have included $0.10 per taco into the price increase to cover the hot sauce. Going to lose a lot of business not giving out more salsa for those tacos.

Love the tacos here. The employees all seem to be friendly. They offer a few different salsas for your taco. I prefer the medium red one. Have been enjoying their tacos for many years. Wish they stayed open later than 2 so I could try one of their plates for dinner. They make your call in order pretty quick. I have run into a problem when calling in sometimes. I have gone here 3, times the first time he got it right I ordered carne guisada with cheese he put 3, pieces of meat NO cheese so I called him shouldn't of done that because the second time I went I ordered carne guisada with cheese.
