Pros- I was greeted right away for my take-out order and noticed that the interior was clean and they were doing a good amount of business. The hostess staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was quoted 20 minutes from my order, which was totally fine as I was not in a rush, and I could see they were busy. I was quite surprised when my food was ready just 13 minutes later! Getting the food home, it was quite delicious and a good-sized portion. I had the French dip sandwich with au jus and a side Caesar salad. The meat was tender and ample. I appreciate that the salad dressing was in a separate cup, so as not the salad before I got home. . Cons- When signing for my bill, the manager gave me a pen that did not have the center part with the ink. It was just a hollow plastic tube, but it did have a security chain attached to the counter. Apparently, that was the only pen available at the front counter, and while they were scrambling trying to find a pen, I decided to use my own. There was an employee who was not a hostess, who was just standing up at the front counter the entire time of my visit. I'm not sure if she was supposed to be working, but if she was not clocked in yet, maybe she could be out of the public way. I looked inside of the paper bag, and notice that the Caesar box was open, so I closed it, and there was a larger box with my sandwich and a small cup with the au jus dip. Unfortunately, the lid on the cup was not secured or taped down and came open during my drive, soaking the au jus through the bottom of the paper bag and into my cloth passenger seat. I suppose I will be smelling that for months to come. No napkins nor utensils were provided. Note that there is very little parking close to the building, so you will be walking around the back to...
Read moreThis was my second experience at Brixx and I was looking forward to it. They had just changed their menu and what I wanted and was looking forward to had been removed. After much deliberation I settled on the nachos. When they arrived the presentation was amazing they smelled awesome and then I tried to eat them. The nachos are lined with paper and they come served in a metal type ring bowl there was so much cheese matter of fact I would say a third of the nachos if not more was all cheese there was so much melted cheese it was melted to the paper could not separate it from the paper to eat. There was so much cheese I could not cut through it to eat. There was so much cheese that everything else on the nachos except for the steak had no flavor. I'm talking about jalapenos onions roasted corn black beans and amazing ranch type sauce that when I got a little bit of a taste was was amazing but because there was so much cheese you couldn't taste anything but cheese. I finally am able to cut through all the layers of cheese to only find the entire bottom was probably a good tablespoon of grease it was puddled and pulled in places so I had a cheesy slippery greasy mess that I was unable to cut through that I had to pick apart tear apart from the side of the pan try to remove the paper and pick through to eat the chunks that were edible. I was very disappointed The service was lackluster not at all like the first experience I had I don't know if I will come back which is a shame because this is so close to my house and the...

First, I have to tell you that I have been to the brixx on several occasions, and had a generally good experience. The pizzas are pretty good. The burgers are pretty good. However, today we ordered one coffee, that I’m pretty sure has been sitting in the pot for over three days it literally stunk.
We decided to order the brunch menu, biscuits and gravy. Nothing impressive. I’m pretty sure this is just premade Cisco product. The gravy looked like some kind of baby food. I don’t know who made this egg, but it basically had been fried for 7/8 minutes. (Butchered) no seasonings what so ever. My friend had the Elk hash. She was very excited because she had had it before, and said absolutely delicious it was. Today, not so much.
I have been in the food business for sometime, and the dead giveaway is plates coming back with a bunch of food. You need to train your servers. This is an easy dead giveaway that something is not right. However, that being said, our server was polite and kind and prompt.
When I pointed out to her that the quality of our food was really bad, her reply was to tell me she would be informing the kitchen. Wrong again, a manager should have instantly addressed to my issues, and at the very least offered to discount our meal.
I think it’s really sad. You didn’t hear a word I said, and only became defensive. A normal operator would have wanted to fix the menu. Or at least offered to replace the...
