Fixitpro — Local services in Garden City

Update to the story below: An employee reached out to me, and we were able to compromise on a solution to my problem. I appreciate the effort to reach out, and they were polite over the phone. I will leave this story here because it was true, and it did happen. However, I respect the effort to try and make the situation right, and want to clarify that there are no hard feelings to the store or any of the employees. Massive respect.

I went to get my phone charger fixed, because it was loose and not working. They did a great job of fixing the charger, but told me they ordered a flex cable and would install that too at no extra cost. I took it down a few days later, and got the cable installed. After this was installed, my phone would not connect to my cellular provider. I tried restarting it, airplane mode, removing the sim card, and other methods, and nothing worked. I know it was an issue with the phone, since I put my sim card in my old phone and it worked just fine. I also noticed a large dent in my case and the back cover falling off, both of which were not there before. The next day, I went back to ask for a refund, since they had damaged my phone and I needed a new one. The guy said that they had already installed the parts, which I paid 100 dollars for, and that they had done the work I asked them to do. Samsung A53: Looks like the phone battery was expanding so I brought it here to Fixitpro. I was told it was a simple fix (battery replacement) and it would take about 90 minutes. In less than 90 minutes, I had my phone back. I've had the phone a week now and I have not encountered ONE problem. Service was excellent and the gentleman behind the counter was super courteous and seemed very knowledgeable of all kinds of problems. He was very courteous and accommodating to EVERY customer that walked in. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I recommend this store to everyone if you have problems with your cell phone and/or electronics. Prices seem reasonable. Did my phone get fixed? Yes. They replaced it with a generic that is flagged by Apple software. Ever since they fixed the screen, my battery has been dying in a matter of hours. So did they do as asked? Yes, but it isn’t the same phone as it was before it got dropped.

Update 3/12/23- my screen got cracked again so I took it to a shop with much better reviews. Turns out, Fixitpro had replaced the original OLED with a much cheeper LED screen. This explained why my battery was draining my so fast.
