Went in yesterday, drive almost 2 hours each way to get there. 6 months pregnant with a 30lb 14 month old on my hip and asked if I could pay there and pick it up out back. Girl says sure. Asked for sweet feed, out, then asked for only 2 bags of show pig feed. She says well it shows that we have 8 but I am going to call back there just to be sure: hang on this is going to take a while (asking why in my head). She rings them numerous times no reply, after 7 minutes I say I'll go check myself. I mean why would it say you have 8 bags when you don't? I do this all the time as does my 84 year old grandma and the bags numbers have been correct. I turn the corner and see the feed workers all leaning on bags of feed talking and decide wow I don't have time for this so I walk back to get a cart and she intercepts me and says if you just get a cart they said they will load your feed. Ok excellent it's soooo easy hauling 5 bags of feed which is apparently my limit because I can't stack anymore bags on those carts, one handed while carrying a baby. So I was already annoyed that I couldn't get the 10+ bags I came for. Very few customers in the store and this is just something I wanted to bring to your attention. I work I. Customer service and that level of service is unacceptable. My grandma has a herd of 50 head and 3 autoimmune disorders and has no muscle at all and cannot lift those bags. She gets hers paid for in front like apparently I can't, and drives to the back to pick it up. I complained to the employee, associate 261992 who conveniently had her name tag covered, she passed the buck and told me the boys in the back weren't doing their job and she was sorry for them not doing their job. but she didn't do her job, the computer clearly states that there was 8 bags of snow edge pig feed and guess what? There were exactly 8 bags. She simply didn't want to look things up it's easier to use the scanner on the actual bags. I had a random customer offer more help than any of the 6 employees I passed. You were majorly overstaffed for the amount of customers. With the price of gas, it's ridiculous to only be allowed what I can tote on a cart. I needed a lot more feed and was trying to get it in before more snow flies.as you can see, my cart was full by...
Read moreI had purchased two hats for my daughter because she wasn't able to come with me and I wasn't sure of the size needed. I went to return the hat that didn't fit and couldn't find my receipt. I previously returned something at a different location and they were able to pull it up and see that I had purchased it. Well the young lady at this store told me they couldn't do it and it had to go on a gift card she told me this several times. So I said hold on let me look for the receipt one more time because I didn't want a gift card. I didn't find the receipt, so I told her nevermind id take it to the other store that could look up the purchase. The lady next to her said hold one she could help me, just wait till she was done with the customer she was helping. I said ok thank you. Then the young lady that was helping me asked for my phone number and proceeded to look up the purchase after she insisted they couldn't do it and found the purchase.
I was extremely frustrated and upset that she had me standing there digging in my purse and knew the whole time she could look up the purchase, shevlied right to my face. She didn't ask anyone to help do it so she knew it was possible. That is horrible customer service and I've never been treated like that at this store or any of the others. I did speak to a manager and I hope they let her know that is unacceptable way to...
Read moreDo not buy chicks here! They do not vaccinate or sex their chicks. The staff does Not know much about these chicks Other than they come from Dunlap nursery. My neighbor had half of her chickens die after a few months, and they were purchased here. She found out they had Marek‘s disease. And then she found out that D&B does not vaccinate for this, although most chicks at Dunlap are vaccinated for this. when I called the store to ask them questions about it nobody knew the answers and two people told me not to worry about it. I AM worried about it. The guy who works in the chicken department told me that the feed is medicated and should take care of it. The feed does not take care of Marek‘s disease, sir. It helps with roundworms and things like that. And after their first week of life, they’re too old to be vaccinated so now they are at risk. Next time I get chicks, I will just go to Dunlap and get pre-vaccinated chicks who are sexed and...
