Do not apply at this location. Staff does not care about their employees. I used to work here and the amount of harassment, bullying & unfairness was experienced every day. Hiring Manager named Jackie grabbed and pulled me by the arm to "take orders" after the shift manager had told me to finish an order and go on break. After speakingto the Owner, no actions were taken. I left later that month when a different shift manager would not let me switch positions because "i get mad easily" (backstory: If they are going to yell at me, i WILL YELL BACK, and they simply did not like it so they decided to "punish" me by putting me in a different position)i was never once rude to a customer and always gave it my all when i worked here and they took advantage of that. I hope they start treating their staff with respect that they deserve because for minimum wage its truly not worth working at an environment like that. I hope every single customer knows how they treat their employees. Cross. CONTAMINATION!!! if you ask for "fresh" fries or "unsalted" they will just re-dip the old fries in oil to burn off the salt and make them seem fresh. I have witnessed cooks without gloves touching food and coworkers giving out old food. Do not buy at this place. From my experience working here i do not trust a single fast food chain or restaurant for that matter because you never know how food is handled there until you're the one actually...
Read moreI will occasionally hit up the McDonald's at 28929 Waukegan Road for lunch every other week or so as I've found this McDonald's to have hot, good quality food in the past. The only down-side to this McDonald’s is its physical location – the lot is tight and small due to the configuration of the drive-thru lanes. These factors are required by the size and shape of the parcel of land the restaurant sits on. I’ve always used the drive thru lanes since I typically head back to work with my food. The drive thru can get very backed up during the peak meal times, so if you can go early (before noon) for later (say closer to 1:00 PM) then I would suggest doing so, so you have a better chance of getting in and out quickly. That said, each time I’ve ordered food, my food has been handed to me hot and tasty. I have not had the wrong items handed to me yet, so kudos to the staff for keeping track of orders and providing the right orders to people even with the amount of traffic they get during peak times. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, hot meal, this McDonald’s should work for you. However, be prepared to wait a bit in the drive thru lanes during peak...
Read moreI called because I needed to get a couple answers to questions for my research paper. I would have gone in person but the roads are SO overwhelmingly full of snow that I couldn't safely leave my neighborhood. I asked if I could ask a few questions she said "no" because they didn't have many people working. This makes no sense because the roads are so bad people can hardly leave their neighborhoods...it's not like people were actually able to make things busy. I asked "what about just two questions?" She said NO. She basically answered the phone in order to tell me she couldn't talk at all. The most useless service I have ever seen in my life. I already never really visited that McDonald's and now have even less interest in ever offering...
