Wendy's — Restaurant in Illinois

This Wendy’s is awful and needs new workers. First off, the young lady taking our order rushed us right off the bat and didn’t even listen to the order resulting in her giving us the wrong drink. Not a huge deal, but then after driving off with our food we checked and noticed that they had messed up our order through the drive thru so we had to drive back around and wait in line again since you can’t go inside due to covid. When we mentioned that we had been missing one out of our five sandwiches they proceeded to argue with us claiming we didn’t order correctly. Not to mention they failed to give us a receipt so we had to ask for that during the issue and basically figure it out on our own. First they were going to have us pay for another sandwich thinking we had not already. Then they asked us to unwrap the sandwiches in our car to see which one was missing from our bag which I refused to do since the food was not mine and I wasn’t about to touch other peoples food and make a mess in my car. They continued to waste our time and patience, until they FINALLY realized it was their fault and they had just forgotten to make and put a sandwich in the bag. No apologies. Rude as all hell. Since the beginning, man has searched for ways to compile a cutlet of chicken betwenst a pair of bread slices, in the most delicious way. Time and time again man had gotten stumped, always so close but missing a little here or a little there. Eventually man had given up on searching for new creations and instead got comfortable with the basics. Well now the time has changed my friends. The service at this location is extremely poor. Inaccurate orders are a norm as they have made many mistakes on my orders on numerous occasions . As a former restaurant manager for many years this comes down to training and accountability!The most recent Uber order was as usual missing items .When I called the customer service worker named Angie was unapologetic and obviously had no training in dealing with an upset customer. Her rudeness and attitude over the phone is a reflection of her training and lack of accountability.
