Johnny's Burritos of Imperial — Restaurant in Imperial

I am local and have been going to Johnny's since I was a kid. I do feel they are a bit over priced for what you get. With that being said it's kind of a staple here in the valley and though I don't hardly eat there anymore myself, my kids love their cheese fries, taquitos, and bean an cheese burritos. Recently went and picked up an order of family cheese fries with avo sauce. Paid $9.45. Got home and it was about half the amount that you would normally get. I've been getting family cheese fries since high school when I would eat the whole thing myself. Called Johhny's to give them a heads up in case there was someone new in the back. It was a pretty disappointing order. Got no apology, instead, I was told that it wasn't less they were just using bigger containers. Really? Pretty sure it was the same size container as always. Even if it was a bigger container it still wasn't even close to the amount that I would normally get. Again, I have been a customer for decades. I guess there's a reason why I go less often every year. Probably won't be back for a while. There are plenty of other places that serve better quality and QUANTITY...

If you're looking for decent tasting Mexican food slightly overpriced for their portions that have upcharges for condiments, YOU FOUND IT!! I ordered a eggs, beans, bacon and cheese burrito 🌯 and it ended up being right under $5, I was able to eat the entire burrito taking 5 bites, so with that math problem, you're looking at $1 per bite. It came with 1 red salsa. I had requested for green salsa instead, they then made me aware that they charge for it. So I thought little solo containers couldn't be more than .35 cents each, NOPE! I ordered 3 of them which ended up being almost $2. That's .60 cents plus tax each. Now if this was some profound green salsa, award winning green salsa, green salsa good enough to straight tilt the solo container back and take it like a tequila shot I wouldn't even make any noise about it, this was your typical run of the mill green salsa, I could've purchased a better one at the grocery store for roughly the same price.

I will NEVER eat at johnny’s burritos in imperial again... Here’s why.. Picked up my son from school an stopped by there for some cheese fries. While sitting inside at a table , two (2) workers were transferring the lemonade and the tea dispensers to a table top dispenser.. Only one worker had on gloves (1 glove only) the other had none.. They called for the worker at drive thru window for help.. The drive thru worker reached inside of the container (no gloves an did not wash hands) and removed the spout. She then proceeded to go to hot water dispenser to rinse off spout, then picked it back up (no gloves, dirty hands) and placed it back into container.. The worker with one glove proceeded to empty one container into the now CONTAMINATED one in which was placed on counter for customers to...
