Breakfast this morning was a little chilly on the patio but can't beat the view!
Started the morning with coffee, almond milk and some OJ. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to make the avocado toast ($14.00) gluten free for me which is great, I don't get to enjoy that out often. They have various bread options listed but gluten free bread is not. It came with hard boiled eggs, which I had the option of changing but I stuck with it. The hard boiled eggs were ice cold, the toast was loaded with lots of avocado, almost too much. I ordered a side of asiago chicken sausage ($6.00) which was good but messy. I think I would have enjoyed more if the eggs were hot- because it was so cold outside-- personal preference.
My hubs opted for the simple breakfast your way, with scrambled eggs and bacon, and breakfast potato and toast. $17
I tried to order the green godness smoothie, but the server informed me it had barley in it and was not gluten free.
We took a long walk through the buffet area, they had some great looking food options if you don't have any dietary restrictions.
Not many food items on the menu caught my attention- but my experience was great, the wait for the food seemed long. Should have asked for a heater to be moved...
Read moreWhat a wonderful dinner we had at Osteria Sierra that’s located inside of Hyatt regency in Incline Village. Ambience of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. Staff were so professional and friendly.. Mostly we were impressed by the quality of the food. Bread with olive oil was just perfect. Baker for this hotel is super talented so we were impressed by all the baked goods and desserts. Osso Bucco had so much flavor and risotto was cooked perfect. Demi glacé was so well done. Film on top of Demi glacé would form from high quality veal bones. My pappadella pasta was home made and lobster chunk was so crunch but soft.
Dessert was just beyond my imagination! The best Affogato I had! Thank you Nick (the manager at other restaurant in Hyatt) and other wait staff who made our dinner special.
Breakfast was a buffet style (but they have a la carte) and the selections and quality of the buffet were very good. Wait staff never made my coffee cold. Non- stop refill of coffee and great service. We were seated by the fireplace, overlooking the snowy mountains. It was romantic and beautiful! When you come to North Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend this...
Read moreNever come here! You will be disappointed just like us and even the people at the next table, who returned their food to the waiter because it was inedible.
We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 dishes — everything was terrible. The total bill was $144, which is extremely expensive for such tiny portions. The ravioli dish had only 3 pieces (!) for $47. It was just dough with vegetables, no meat, completely bland and tasteless. Total scam.
The carbonara was also a huge disappointment — a tiny portion, watery and bitter sauce, and still $42! Even worse, the bacon was not fresh and so hard that for a moment I thought I broke a tooth while chewing it.
On top of that, the service was dishonest. The waitress first brought us a bill without listing the items — only the total amount, so I couldn’t even check what we were paying for. When I insisted on seeing the actual receipt, she brought one that included dishes we didn’t even order, making the bill higher. Only after my second complaint did they finally bring the correct bill, which was lower. This is double fraud!
Absolutely the worst dining...
