Lake Tahoe’s cutest (and underrated) boutique hotel. I stay here every year and it never disappoints! 🌲🩵 #laketahoecalifornia #laketahoevacation #tahoelife #californiatravel

Book your stay!! This place was amazing from the location, the rooms, the service, etc! My boyfriend and I were staying in South Lake Tahoe and wanted to try out the other side of the lake (North Lake Tahoe). It was a last minute decision but we stumbled upon this hotel via google and decided to give them a call. They fit us in no problem and also allowed me to use my military discount. We didn’t arrive until about four hours later but they said they could have a room right away if needed! Check in was very simple and the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful with whatever question we had! We booked the King room which came with one King bed, a tv, a beautiful forest view window, a super soft blanket (which they sell in the lobby) and.. some mugs with a water kettle (which were very clean btw)! We used them to make some nice hot cocoa! Obviously the room came with other nice amenities but those were my absolute fav! The location of the lodge was also very close to a little grocery store and some restaurants. Overall, I’d say this stay was 5 stars!!

The Incline Lodge is still adding hidden fees to their advertised room rates, despite the FTC's Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees, which took effect on May 12, 2025, and requires hotels to disclose the total price of a stay, including all mandatory fees, upfront in their advertisements. This means hotels like the Incline Lodge can no longer surprise customers with hidden charges like resort fees, yet the Incline Lodge adds $30 for 'Amenities' to the advetisied room rates on their website. Amenities that are typically included in room rates at most decent hotels, and a tacky practice most notably adopted by cheap hotels. . *** In response to the owner's comment below *** If that's the case, then why are fees excluded from the room rates on your website, and why don't you display them on the same page, as per the FTC requirement that hotels "disclose the total price of a stay, including all mandatory fees, upfront in their advertisements"? If you're going to claim to be transparent, then be transparent.

My family and I just spent the weekend at the Incline Lodge and were blown away by the experience.

Here’s what you need to know:

The Incline Lodge, formerly the parkside inn, has new owners and has been COMPLETELY renovated - down to every detail. Any former opinions you had of this place, or reviews you have read, should be disregarded, which is a good thing! The renovations are all-encompassing, from every nook and cranny of each room to the spacious lobby upstairs and the chic reception/hangout area downstairs. Even the pool and its surrounding area have been given a fresh, new look!

Here are some details about our stay:

The Rooms - The rooms have a "Tahoe-Chic" style and look really cool/ swanky with loads of charming details like vintage skis on the wall, ski-themed wallpaper, and these awesome tree trunk end tables. You can tell that they put some real thought into every color, texture, and material in the space to ensure it gave off the right vibe.

The rooms feel high-end, with new fixtures, flooring, and bathrooms. My room was upstairs, so it had these high vaulted ceilings with wood beams that made the room feel huge. Plus, the room had a new Samsung Smart TV on the wall, a white table/desk, and two super comfy high end hotel style queen beds with perfectly sized pillows (not too thin, not too fat) and super soft sheets. Thanks to the blackout curtains, we all slept in till 8:30 each morning, even our 8-year-old! The bathrooms are shiny new and stylish - and the showers have excellent water pressure and come equipped with top-notch organic bath products and plush towels.

The Lobby - The lobby was a key part of the experience as it served as the go to spot to catch up with the others we were traveling with. Its truly gorgeous (incredible furnishings), but not stuffy, and hanging out there is truly encouraged by the staff. We were served excellent Italian coffee every morning (so good that we skipped the Starbucks run), and wine service in the afternoon. My 8-year-old loved walking to the lobby with his cousins and ordering hot chocolate.

The Staff - The staff is attentive, thoughtful, and engaged. They blend high standard service with a casual, fun demeanor that makes you feel genuinely welcome. Our mornings were brightened by Aida's warm greetings and friendly chats, while in the evenings, Felipe ensured everyone had a glass of wine and a smile on their face.

Final Verdict - This place is really special. It is fun, family friendly, swanky, and comfortable. It is an excellent, more affordable alternative to the Hyatt and we will be...

The Incline Lodge made our wedding absolutely unforgettable! We booked their lounge for our reception (34 people) and arranged everything remotely—via phone, email, and FaceTime. From the very beginning, their team, led by GM Andrew and the Operations Manager Ty, was outstanding. They answered countless questions, helped us figure out catering, and even sourced specific liquor for our signature drinks, which they added to their bar menu. The rates were fantastic, and the open bar option was a hit!

I also upgraded to their One-Bedroom Apartment for the bridal suite, and it was perfect. With a separate living room, micro kitchen, and balcony, it was not only gorgeous but functional—it even became the stunning backdrop for our first looks in the snow.

The staff was incredible—so kind and attentive. Every guest commented on how welcoming and friendly they were. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect, from arrival to departure. And when a blizzard derailed our original ceremony plans at Lake Tahoe, their staff stepped up in a way I’ll never forget. In just one hour, they converted the lodge lobby into a breathtaking ceremony space. This wasn’t part of our agreement, but they didn’t hesitate to help. They even cleaned snowy, sandy chairs from our lakeside setup so we could use them indoors. Who does that? Pure kindness and dedication!

The lounge itself was stunning, and the bar setup was gorgeous. They let us taste-test our custom drinks the night before to ensure everything was just right—our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! The pool rental included in our lounge package was a fun bonus, and many guests ended the night with a magical, celebratory jump into the pool.

As for the rooms, my guests were blown away by how comfortable and cozy they were. Everything was newly remodeled, beautiful, and designed with comfort in mind.

Whether you’re looking for a place to stay, accommodations for your guests, or a venue to host an event, stop searching. The Incline Lodge has it all—heart, style, and a staff that genuinely cares about making your experience perfect. I’m still speechless over how much they did for us. Thank you, Incline Lodge, for turning a snowy wedding day into a...

Working with Andrew and the team at The Incline Lodge for our wedding was an absolute dream. From the outset, they demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and hospitality that truly set them apart. Despite reopening just a couple of months before our wedding following massive renovations, their communication was seamless. Andrew was not only responsive and friendly but also proactive in keeping us informed about the progress of the renovations and the timing for when we could finalize our room block contract.

Their dedication to ensuring a fantastic experience for our guests was evident in every interaction. Andrew and his team were always available to answer our myriad of questions, from the specifics of the room allocations to the logistics of distributing our welcome bags. Their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond were particularly appreciated when we encountered a hiccup with shuttle parking. Andrew's coordination with the church across the street for shuttle loading demonstrated their commitment to finding solutions and ensuring the smooth running of our wedding logistics.

Moreover, The Incline Lodge's ability to accommodate our guests with such warmth and professionalism was remarkable. They managed the distribution of our welcome bags with care, ensuring each guest felt personally greeted upon arrival. Additionally, when a last-minute package delivery became necessary due to an unexpected need, they handled it with ease and reassurance. The level of service extended by Andrew and The Incline Lodge team truly made our wedding weekend memorable for us and our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel partner, and I highly recommend The Incline Lodge to anyone planning a wedding or...
