Ridgeline Park — Attraction in Incline Village-Crystal Bay

Not a good skatepark. Surface is rough, uneven, and cracked. Super odd layout and dimensions. All surfaces and bowls are too steep and tall for the most part.

There's a pyramid that's again too steep and more of a wallie to get over (you can literally grind down the edge of it).

There's an ok flat bar and some chunky waxed curbs around the edges.

Bank next to stairs is again so steep it's more of a wallie to get up, or like a quarter pipe with no transition- I could literally tap my deck and rock n roll it.

4 stair has a low rail down it and a chunky waxed curb down the other, neither of which looked fun.

There's an almost interesting drop-in to bank, but it's both in the corner + not wide enough to be fun as a bank, and too long to be fun as a launch ramp. The drop in also has a gnarly metal grate close to the middle of it that you can roll over, but it'll slow you down a little. So if you try to roll in on the bank and backside kickturn (it's not really fast enough to get to the lip), you'll definitely roll over it if you're regular.

Next to that drop in bank, there is a high, flat, coped (for some reason) edge. I guess one could image roll-on grinding it across but it doesn't seem possible to have enough speed carving around the hard, uneven corners on the deck, plus there is a very high possibility off death dropping off it (it's maybe 6ft off the flat bottom).

All coping is rusty and there are gaps in it in the corners. It grind surprisingly well for how they look. There is a one low round bowl edge that is pretty fun to grind around, but then you're dropped into a big bowl where you no longer have enough speed for.

Cool location and it's in a pretty area. I think there are some people that would like it, but I doubt it's...

Miss my Skate Shop. We threw three events a year in summer there! We had last seasons snowboards from Sqauw Valley starting at $18 a day for rent. Incline parents would say " my son smokes pot beacuse you sell skateboards!! So funny!! Incliner's. Hahahah...

Meh. The only good thing about this park is the setting. Really pretty surroundings. Came with young kids to scooter. It was small and not very good...
