Village Pub — Restaurant in Incline Village-Crystal Bay

We choose this place due to the patio. I travel with my little dog and I have never encountered a patio that does not allow dogs. Well this place is NOT dog friendly. We had already ordered and paid and had been sitting at the patio awaiting our order, when the waitress arrived with our order and informed us that I had to take my dog off the patio as dogs were not allowed. I ended up having to eat my food in the parking lot with my dog. We were the only ones on the patio and she came back several times and she seemed undisturbed by me having to eat standing up in the parking lot. There was no mention on the website nor was there any sign stating that dogs were not allowed. Friends that live in the area were completely astonished of this behavior as they stated that Incline is known to be pet friendly and were disappointed is...

This place is great.

Fries / onion rings were perfect, and the burgers were awesome. Great price.

Bartender was cool and checked in on us to make sure we were good.

This is definitely a local spot, a dive-y hole in the wall sort of place. I felt a little out of place as yet another “Bay Area weekend skier”, but the locals were nice and didn’t seem to mind too much.

Maybe the locals should have their own spot, free from out-of-towners. But one thing is clear: the food and drinks...
