Susie Scoops Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Smoothies & Boba — Restaurant in Nevada

My kids and I went in on Sunday April 8. We were greeted by a not so friendly young lady, who never even said hi. My kids both ordered shaved ice. Before I had even paid for the overpriced shaved ice my daughter had partially spilled hers. Instead of saying no problem we can get you a new one the employee begrudgingly brought a rag out to clean up the mess. My daughter being heartbroken at the loss of her treat ordered another one. I figured maybe a reduced price or maybe a complementary replacement since my daughter had not even taken a bite. Nope no such luck! Another $5 charge for about 10cents worth of ice and flavored water.

Full disclosure I live near Susie Scoops and have been there many times. I have mostly had good experiences. I do think that an expensive ice cream shop that caters to children has to know that sometimes kids spill and should at least make some concessions for kids being kids. After years of getting ice cream there I think today was my last!😢. Both of my kids were not happy with our treatment and said they don’t want to go back. Sayonara...

There is literally no other place that we buy ice cream when we are out and about. We LOVE the attached TOY STORE!

Susie Scoops has the best ice cream that is made in Nevada. It's thick, luscious and incredible. Any other ice cream usually upsets someone's stomach but never Susie Scoops. I love that you can grab large containers to go or even make your own. This ice cream is ultra thick, almost custard like but absolutely dreamy.

You'll love the toy store next to Susie Scoops, just a few feet away. They have some great options that you don't see in other stores, this makes Susie Scoops a great birthday gift!

The staff is always friendly, sometimes overwhelmed by the huge crowds that come in so plan to be patient and take your time deciding on the huge selection of flavors!

You can buy cones or cups on the side if you want to take it to go, there are so many options. They also sell shakes and sundaes and other things. There's definitely something for everyone! Don't miss a chance to stop by, it will be your new favorite ice...

I called to order 6 smoothies asked how long it would be before they would be ready. The girl said 15-20 min maybe sooner. I came in at 20 min and only 2 were made. One girl was working on them while he other was cleaning and not helping her. She was wiping stuff off and filling the cone containers. Pretty sad that the 2 couldn’t help each other while I stood here and waited another 20 min. I had to ask for the 2 smoothies that were sitting on the counter already made to be put in the fridge bc they were clearly melting... NOT very happy!! Especially when they were over $9.99 EACH!!
