Chubby Charlie's Pizza — Restaurant in Independence Charter Township

I used to order Chubby Charlie's all the time when my best friend lived in White Lake. We'd order from the Cooley Lake Rd Location. All. The. Time. But they moved to Hartland, and I moved to South Lyon. Well. With the unfortunate circumstances of my Mom entering Angela Hospice's new Waterford Care Center. I saw that Chubby Charlie's had a location nearby! Alleluia! They have THE BEST pizza! The best food! The best quality around! I've missed them! I ordered twice already and have had some of the best food! Plus, delivery is efficient and friendly. The Chubby Bread. I mean, they're little puffs of bread bliss! I love their Cheeseburger Pizza. I ultimately love their Reuben Pizza. That pizza is pure unfiltered heaven! The pickle pizza is divine! Right now, it's the simple pleasures in life, and Chubby Charlie's is my mood boost. I wish there was one in Western Oakland County or Livingston County. Someday! Until then, I'll enjoy my orders from their Clarkston location. They are no joke the best Pizza, Calzone, Submarine, Bread Sticks, cheese bread, desserts, and food in Metro Detroit! Hands down! Thanks for bringing so much joy to me during this hard...

Pizza is great. But the customer service, I can't explain what's going on at this place. After creating an online account , I received a 20% Off birthday coupon code from them on my email. Then, I received another 20% Off code on my email as a thank you for placing a large order. However, when you checkout online, there's no option to enter any coupon codes. When I mentioned this in person at the store, the guy looked at me like a deer in headlights ("Yeah, I'm not sure why you got those emails, we don't do that"). So, I emailed customer service. I asked how they could be sending people coupon codes that can't even be used? They responded and said, "We don't offer coupons. Can you send us the emails so we can look into it?". So, I did. I sent them screenshots of the emails from Chubby Charlie's in Clarkston. Never heard anything back. I write them again, still nothing. How could they possibly email (unusable) coupons to people, and not even know anything about it?? It is the strangest, most bizzare thing I can imagine. It really angered me. Customer service is sloppy and rude....

We tried the clarkston location for the first time the other night after reading all the amazing recommendations and it was an awesome choice!

The pizza was delicious, the bread was some of the best we have had, and the calzone was absolutely to die for! It was a great price too! We will 1000000% be back soon!

Also props to the manager (or owner) who approached the man who had his car parked outside the store with 2 large aggressive dogs and windows rolled down. The dogs were lunging at people, growling, and barking non stop if someone walked by and the manager (or owner) confronted the man and told him to move the truck or leave.
