I was not sure if I was going to write a review or not being this was a new location recently opened. Then I figured why not because people can not improve on something if they are not made aware of it. I would like to start by saying I have had savvy sliders from other locations. This location was a bit of a disappointment when it came to the chicken tenders and fries. When I ordered my 10 piece tenders on Wednesday, a lot of the batter had fallen off in the box. I'm not sure if they watered down the batter they were dipped in, if the chicken was wet before dipping, if the fryer was not to temp, or what it was, but something was not right. That is if they are hand dipped at the location. Other locations I did not have the issue. The chicken was crunchy, and the batter stayed on. Also, there was not a lot of grease in the bottom of the box like at this location. The fries were interesting. Nicely cooked. Ordered one plain frie and one with the house seasoning. Well, they both tasted plain. However, every 4th frie, I got a hint of seasoning, so I know they did put some on the one frie. I'm not sure why they were so reserved on seasoning the fries. I will say that the young man at the counter had amazing customer service. Was busy with in-person orders and online orders. He kept his cool and was extremely friendly. Just sad the food was not as good as the service. Perhaps it is because they are new, perhaps there was an issue with equipment, perhaps no one is over seeing quality and just looking for profit. I am not sure. I will try this location again in a month or so since I am in that area once or twice a month. Let's hope it improves by then. I will write a new review upon my...
Read morepretty disappointed. this was my first time trying savvy sliders and i didn’t realize until arrival that this was a new location. i waited about 20 or so for my combo meal which i was okay with because i figured they were behind or cooking everything fresh. the girl at the register was really nice but i could hear the cooks in the back either loudly arguing or complaining about a different employee. i had a small issue with my order and when i asked about it, it felt like everyone was being quite condescending even though i was polite and patient. there was overall just a weird hostile vibe in there. i got home to eat and my food was cold :( it wasn’t even hot for how long i waited. the chicken was really dry and parts of it were too hard to eat. the flavor in everything was good but the texture and coldness sucked. this being my first time really just threw me off and made me sad considering the meal wasn’t cheap. i work in food service so i’m genuinely not a hard person to please as i understand how it goes, but this was just disappointing. i hope they can figure it all out...
Read moreAmazing people work here, so polite and nice.
The sliders are amazing, but a little on the expensive side. I had 4 and quite a few fries and was still a bit hungry. At $4-$7/slider, that's over 20 bucks for just myself.
However, this place got my child to eat sweet potato fries. So I will forgive them.
The hangover, the fried chicken, and the mushroom Swiss were fantastic. The mushroom Swiss was a little on the bland side, but it was still pretty good, so I might just be being picky. The seasoned sweet potato waffle fries have a sweet, brown sugar, cinnamon, all spice kind of flavor.
They're hard to describe, and I think either you love them or hate them. The unseasoned version is great if you like sweet potato fries. If you like them more on the sweet side, go for the...
