Do everyone a favor and use your wallet elsewhere to force this franchise out of business. There's a handful of Jimmy John's within a very small distance of this location that you should go to instead. If I was one of those franchise owners I would honestly be embarrassed to be associated with this location.
My customer experience has been so terrible that I am surprised anyone could have given this location a five star review. These five star reviews must have come from people who either work here, know the owners or had received some sort of promotion for leaving a good review. It might come as surprising, but I really don't like being argumentative, and I don't like leaving bad reviews. My experiences have just been that bad.
This location is minutes from my house and delivery times typically take anywhere from 45-60 minutes with my longest wait being 80 minutes. Ordering pizza, something that has to be cooked first before it can be delivered to you, usually takes less time. On top of that I've literally had a delivery guy complaining about the fact that he had to drive to my location right after apparently having another order in my neighborhood during his last delivery, and that âit would have been more convenient had I'd ordered about an hour agoâ. I didn't even say anything to the man about how long it took for him to get to me, that comment was completely unprovoked and came across as very rude!
I was a very frequent customer and yet I had never received my order correct. I order extra lettuce on my sandwich every single time, and never received extra lettuce. I've never complain until today when I finally got fed up with not receiving what I wanted, despite always being nice, patient and leaving a 20% tip on top of delivery fees ahead of time, and wrote in my delivery instructions to âplease add extra lettuceâ. When I got it, the sandwich was an absolute joke. Not only was there no extra lettuce but there was less than I usually get, as if my asking or something special was insulting them and they were 'going to show me'. I called to speak with the manager, the first time I've ever done that in my life, and there was no concern given to the customer. I've worked in service my entire life and I hate people who complain for comps or for the sake of complaining, and you're just going to have to take my word for it- but that was not what I was doing.
It should be noted that I wasn't offered a new sandwich delivered, a refund, a comp on future orders or even a simple apology. I didn't even ask for anything but the manager felt the need to tell me that he couldn't do anything other than make sure didn't happen again, then asked for my name. Obviously you should already have my name, but there was no way I was going to give it out again. As if I'm going to give you my name so that your employees can be sure to spit in my food next time. I simply stated that I would not be ordering from them again and hung up. Clearly from other reviews this doesn't bother them, so I implore you to not give any money to this business.
Additionally, I cannot prove anything, but during a week that I hadn't left the house and had only ordered out from this Jimmy John's I somehow came down with mono. Weird that an adult came down with a virus usually associated with teenagers, after having no contact with anyone other than Jimmy John's employees for an entire week. I was on bed rest for 3 weeks straight and was screwed out of profits from a project I had been working on. I really didn't want to associate that with this Jimmy John's since I have no proof, but after my horrible interaction with their employees today I really don't care about being accused of making wild claims. I don't see how else I could have gotten sick and honestly if connecting those dots prevents more people from going to this location then I might as well let people...
Read moreNot the type to leave a review but the fact I have to is hilarious. but I came through the drive thru and they didnât have the bread I wanted for my sandwich and I told them Iâd be fine with the other type of bread they offered me which I was totally cool with. and then the woman on the speaker insisted theyâd cut the French bread for me which was totally cool until I pulled up to the window. where I was greeted by an older woman with neck tattoos and, glasses who practically yelled at me because her co-worker offered that option, and explained that itâs a âno no on her shiftâ but she would âlet it slide this one timeâ with a very unnecessary attitude , while she was leaning on the counter with her purse in hand with gloves on smh. she needs to do better, everyone else was friendly. Food was incorrect and I wasnât given the mayo packets that I asked for but âIâll let it slide...
Read moreI get a delivery all the time from your location. Most of the time everything goes well and I will still order from you but just a little heads up. The biggest thing that gets missed for some reason is getting the sub cut in half and my mayo packs being forgotten. Last night we ordered four subs, a bag of chips, potato salad, and a side pickle. All four subs were not cut in half even though it was requested, no mustard or mayo packs were provided, although they too were requested and we were recharged for the pickle, but never received it. Everything on the receipt was correct based on the order we placed but all of the above was missed. Seems like somebodyâs either going too fast or just not paying attention. Like I said, we will continue to order from your location (love the Hunter roast beef) but attention to detail needs to be addressed on...
