This is a wonderful hidden gem in Clarkston on the edge of Waterford, MI! For people, and their families, interested in car racing, quarter midget racing, target shooting with rifle, shotgun, flintlock, black powder muzzleloader or pistol, crossbow, longbow or barebow, also fishing, hunting, camping, period Rendezvous and, finally, enjoying a delicious meal at Oakland County Sportsman's Club restaurant & bar! And now there is even a lighted Forest Event which changes themes with the seasons and includes characters, music, dancing and other activities, food and a gift shop. Highly recommend trying out some, or all of, the activities available here! People are friendly and welcoming and you can become a member, if you find you enjoy some of the activities and want to get involved. My father gained lifetime membership status before he passed in February of 2024, the camp sights are beautiful, the fishing was amazing; granted I didn't always get a bite, however I learned how to shoot a bow and gun here. Been taking my grandson the Archery Instructional class on Saturday morning starting at 8 am to noon. It's a very awesome class to bring your children for a wonderful time and learning all about the Sport of Archery.
