May 21st, 25 edit: I must admit, I did come about 20 mins before close, there was one car ahead of me and one behind me. I will also admit for one of my biggie bags I requested extra pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce and mayo. To me, it didn't appear to be "extra" anything and my burger had no mayo. I was a bit disappointed, however I'm assuming they had already started to put things away. My chilli that I added onions to, did have onions, however I thought they usually came chopped. I received burger onions and only a few at that. I did get the sour cream and chilli packets I ordered, which was nice. With my fries I requested a side of mayo, which I did not get. I did get the honey mustard and ketchup I wanted though.
The buffalo nuggets, were perfect. The strawberry lemonade also perfect.
The frosty I ordered for my second biggie bag, appeared a little on the soupy side. I don't know if the recipie changed from back in the day, but i remember it being nice and thick.
Staff was so friendly and understanding, so I'm guessing they kind of had a long day and we're just a little aloof. I'll probably be back to test my theories. Overall not a bad time.
April 1st edit; Got some good burgers. Better than the last time, thank you.
Got pulled up because 2 of 4 of my chicken sandwiches were still cooking. Which probably means 2 of the 4 are getting cold(they were in fact cold). Finally after a good while (not sure how long didn't want to know) I received my bag of food, missing a chili. After my friend went in to get the chili he said they're hiring, so if ya'll need a job head here. Haha, they must need...
Read moreOrdered a meal, and employee through my money on the ground at the pay window.......... I always pay exact amount and when I placed my order at the ordering station, I could not understand what the young man told me for the amount. I am 73 years old and hard of hearing. I asked a second time, but still could not understand the the amount that he was telling me. I asked a third time and this time a female told me what the amount was, and I under stood what it was $10.15. When I got to the payment window, I handed the 15 cents (one dime and one nickel) to the employ, he then tossed them on the ground and said "whoops". At that time I thought it was an accident. Then I handed him two five dollar bills, he tossed them onto the ground and again said "whoops". Then he told me I had to pay. I called the police to make a report as I was still at the pay window, There was a car at the "delivery' window, so I was not holding anyone up..... A young lady came out and picked up the money and tried to give it to me. The 911 operator told me to not take it and go around front and wait for the police, which I did.
I have neve had that happen before.......... I always wear a mask at drive through windows out of respect for the employees and I always leave a tip for them..... I have had both of my covid vaccines, but I still wear mask out of respect.
To top off the insult and humiliations, they told the police that I was not allowed at that place again............ Weird, I rarely go to that particular Wendy's...
Read moreOrdered food at the drive-thru, read back to me correctly. I paid, did not receive a receipt. They left the most expensive item out, my salad.
I call Wendy's and the manager, Lindsey, gives me a choice to have a refund for my salad OR drive the 9.9 miles back to their location to pick up my salad.
What would a normal person expect? Customer service to pay for their mistake. Now 19.8 miles (one gallon of gas and 50 minutes of my time), I have what I should have had.
I very much look forward to going up the chain on this one. Poor service by forgetting half my order, poor service by not reconciling the difference I had to spend to get my complete order as Lindsey said that I would only receive a refund if I did not get the salad.
Since the Wendy's on Dixie near White Lake Road is faster, friendlier, and more accurate, they will receive my business...
