Augie's Pizza — Restaurant in Independence

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a large socrates pizza, a medium cheese pizza and 5 chicken wings.

The order total came out to $63.55 after we applied a $4 off coupon. The socrates pizza was ~$27 which we felt was very expensive for the value we were getting.

The cheese on our pizza kept falling off and the large pepperoni pizza turned out to be a large cheese pizza which was really a let down. Overall, the quality of our food was much lower than what we were used to in comparison to the Augie's Pizza location in North Royalton.

Since there was a mistake in the order, I called them back and I was given a voucher to use from the owner for the wrong pizza which was nice. They said they would write down my info and when I called back, they would be able to see the amount and my name in order to apply the voucher.

When I called back 4 days later to use the voucher, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and told me she couldn't verify the voucher that was given to me so I had to order another day. When I told her this was resulting in me having a bad experience again and that I may write a negative review, she told to write whatever I want and immediately hung up on me. So here I am.

Overall, the Augie's location in North Royalton has friendlier customer service and much much higher quality food. I would avoid this place...

Rarely do I feel compelled to really compliment a business on consistently outstanding service and food, but Augie’s just does it right. We used them recently to cater a holiday party and I don’t think a single person left hungry-everyone was raving about the food (especially the fried chicken, pasta and the cookies). I called around 72 hours beforehand and they handled it all. They are always timely, accommodating and their customer service is excellent. We had 40 guests and more than enough food at a reasonable price. It couldn’t have gone smoother.

Tonight for my daughter’s birthday party, we ordered several pizzas, salad, breadsticks, etc. Everything showed up right on time and fresh, which is a tall order for a Friday night in a busy small town (and for our guests with gluten allergies, the cauliflower pizza was top notch).

We will continue to frequent Augie’s and will absolutely use them again for not only Friday pizza nights, but for future large parties! You just can’t go...

As many others on here, I stayed at a hotel in Independence, and ordered Augie's online. I am just finishing dinner now, and wow. They delivered it to my hotel room, and my pizza was piping hot. The crust is fresh, medium fluffy thickness, and not greasy at all. The topping, sauce and cheese all likewise taste fresh and quality. The sauce is savory and brings visions of Italy while eating. The cheese is delightful, and layered on thick. I ordered a number of toppings to meet the $15 delivery minimum, and it was amazing. The toppings are placed under the cheese, and I had no idea how good it tastes to have them basically saute in the sauce and cheese during baking.

I ordered online using some app, but the process was a breeze, and my delivery time was half of what they estimated (no complaints there, this girl was hungry!), and the delivery guy was extremely polite and pleasant. My only regret is that I normally live...
