Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar — Restaurant in Independence

I originally commented as pink moon. I just want to clarify since the owner thinks I'm an idiot. Yes I was upset that they did not offer the juice I wanted but when I requested to speak to him it was more so leave a comment that maybe they should consider offering more options. He got so offensive and rude up front that I was ultimately unable to complete my thoughts. The sign on your wall says to contact YOUR Gmail with any issues. NOT CORPORATE. It's kind of redundant to then say "contact corporate" when u get feedback. If you value your customers maybe YOU can tell corporate the feedback you got from me as a franchise owner. Because at that point you are turning away money over something as trivial as cucumbers versus carrots or apples. It's assinine! Take the initiative as an owner. It was your manner of speaking to me and tone of voice in front of a room full of people that made you rude. When I asked to speak to you there was one other person in the store and then all of a sudden a rush came in as we were speaking. And it's still no justification to be nasty .. FYI cucumbers are mostly water so saying they won't make as much juice as carrots is ridiculous to me. Only someone who doesn't juice would believe that. Carrots are a root vegetable. Nowhere near as much water...

I normally don't do reviews because I think it's for people who like complaining but I have to say something. I go to Pulp a lot, I mean at least 3-4 times a week. I usually go to the one in Macedonia (which is great) or I go to the one in Parma (also awesome). I've gone to this location a few times and will never go back! Every time I get a smoothie I have to ask that they remake it, they remake it and it still tastes horrible and then they have to refund me. My parents and sister have had similar experiences with this location making horrible smoothies. My friend and I were out hiking yesterday and because this location was close we decided to grab something to eat. Her smoothie was more like a slushee and disgusting and again I asked that they remake my smoothie because it was so gross. I even had my friend taste it to make sure that I wasn't making it up or being dramatic and she agreed. She also got a PBandG bowl which they just put a banana and a scoop of peanut butter in the bowl... I'm sorry but I paid $11.50 for this and it was totally unacceptable. But I've learned my lesson and will never be going back to...

Horrible experience . I go there all the time. Went there yesterday and I ordered my usual and always paid the same price. Went there and spoke with Shana and was told the price is more. I told her about the price I always paid and didn't understand y it changed in a matter of days. She sd sorry this is the price and had a very nasty attitude. She didn't apologize at all or care for that matter. I was told to call for mgr but they sd he only comes in at lunch time. Called all day and no answer. Emailed sent to business still no response. Went to another location a few miles away and paid same price with no issues. Awesome experience at other location. Never experienced what I experienced at Independence location. They apparently dont care about their customers! I am not going there again! I dont mind paying extra because I have it but to be treated a certain way with no empathy or concern.....No I can really go...
