China Wok — Restaurant in Independence

This place is great! It just opened back up. The woman who helped us Alice, was a sweetheart. She was very attentive and was nice to talk too. My husband and I wanted to give this place a try after we heard good things about this place and they didn't disappoint. We got crab rangoons and steamed dumplings, both were hot and delicious.We both got the lunch specials, he got garlic chicken and vegetables with egg drop soup and I got the triple delight, it had chicken, beef and shrimp with plenty of vegetables and I got hot and sour soup. Everything was hot and delicious and the portions were huge, even for it being a lunch special. The yum yum sauce was delicious too and she even brought us a couple fried donuts to try. Great initial experience, lady was nice. Ordered egg foo young. Problem started after I got home to add sauce. EXTRA SALTY....went back and this is where my experience went down. I told him of the terrible sauce and he admitted that it was salty but refused to fix the problem. It would have been solved with a simple replacement. I don't care how many good reviews are here, but this experience, I would never spend a dime with this restaurant again. 1st and last trip here. Don't go late around close because you may get the last and it may be bad and you have no way of letting them know until the next day. Terrible the lady was rude yelling at her kids working, not to mention the way she talked to me why would ask a question she was just terrible the rudest person I've dealt with in a while. they couldn't even get orders right. I will never go back and one more thingthey tell us that we have to wear a mask when we come in but the people that they're cooking and the ones out front taking orders will not wearing mask or gloves while they were preparing food.
