My husband and I decided to go to chipotle as we have visited countless locations before, we also are aware and understanding of the current circumstances we are all in due to COVID. So upon arriving we were mumbled at by a worker guarding the door who somewhat nicely asked if we had a pickup order we then said we did not. He informed us we could not go in because only 12 people were allowed in at a time. We are then told we can go in and upon walking in there are at least 13 customers in at once. We then get through the line and my bowl is being started, all staff is very unfriendly and angry looking at this point could not even hear me or understand what I wanted on my bowl nor did they care to even make sure what they were putting on was right. I then hear the girl taking over my bowl from the person that started it yell “OUT OF VINEGARETTE” which happens to be the only thing that ties my bowl together there. I get the vinegarette religiously every time I go. I expressed my disappointment because we had waited so long at this point only to be told that once I was already having to struggle to get my order made. Upon expressing my disappointment the worker glared at me with a hateful look as if she could care less. I asked if they could make more and she rudely and loudly advised me no. Then we get to the part where we pay and the manger curses when describing a fellow customer not wearing a mask. Least of my worries we are all human after all but the final straw was when I asked for the chipotle tobacco sauce only to realize when we are long gone to our hotel room that I was given regular tobacco that spilled all over into our bag. Not to mention the young lady that rung us out gave me a fork that she had put her bare hand all of the part that goes in your mouth. All in all a very unimpressive and DISAPPOINTING experience. Honestly I’ve had better experiences in a McDonalds ordering off the dollar menu at 1 in the morning. Nice respectful workers is the least you should offer with the prices you pay and the wait you endure at chipotle. Very young and unprofessional staff. We have no intention of revisiting or referring...
Read moreAbysmal experience. I've heard and seen all the negative reviews lately and decided to try my luck anyway.
I walked in to see not one customer in the entire store at 4:30pm (red flag), two employees, one standing with his back against the wall near the cash register, and another filling napkins near the soda machine. No one tending the food area at all, though I could hear employees talking in the back.
I took a glimpse at the food on display - no fajitas, barely enough pinto beans to cover the bottom of the container, and they were crusted over from sitting there for so long. Rice, sauce all over the counters etc.
After a couple minutes of awkwardly looking at the visible employees and none of them saying anything to me, one of the people I heard talking in the back came out from and continued his conversation with the others that were still in the back. I had to wait for a pause in his conversation to ask if they had more fajitas, and he just said, "no we're all out of those". In my head, "ok, fine, maybe a stock issue," but I also know they often cook stuff as needed so I thought maybe they just didn't have any prepared and I would have waited for some if he offered that information.
Then I asked about pinto beans and he looks down and sees the same crusted empty contisner I was looking at, then over at the unattended grill (which had no food being prepared on it), and deflected that "he told somebody else to make some" and continued his conversation with the other employees.
By this point I had enough and said "forget it" and walked out. This was the most absurd customer experience I've ever had, food service or otherwise. How the hell do you run a business with employees who are so unfocused on doing any aspect of their job? I gave the food 0/5 stars because I didn't get to even try it.
GET IT TOGETHER! This location has a terrible reputation with the surrounding community and now I can add to the...
Read moreWorst service ever for a Chipotle. Should of taken the warning at the door when several customers told me not to even bother going in. Unfortunately i placed an order for pick up, thinking ill beat the line. Mistake #1. My order was som what ready, but without the guacamole or chips. I asked for the chips and they said they dont have anymore, do i want anything else in replacement. I asked for more guacamole then and thats when i foundcout that there was not guacamole even on my order. They didnt even tell me that. I then said i need a refund because i eant to go to a different Chipotle and place the same order and was handed a number to call because it was an online order. The gentleman was very sarcastic about the whole thing like non of this was there fault. I truley believe he was notceven going to tell me my order was not complete and let me walk out. My drinks were not even given to me which is funny because he asked me if i wanted a drink instead of chips. He also stated he was a very good manager. I had to chuckle because i was also told i was not a good customer after ge said he was a good manager. Not sure what Chipotle deems a good manager, but he definitely would be atvthe bottom of the list. There was 4 people working, 1 in office not helping 3 out front. The male went in back and retrieved a number from female in back. I did call and explained the situation and at first they were only going to give me credit for chips, guacamole and drinks, but I told them I need a full refund because I'm going to a different location to order same thing. Avoid Rockside Rd Chipotle at all cost. Many others have told me to go to a different one, dontvever go there. ...
