For now.....I can only give a 3-Star. I've driven by this pace many times and decided to randomly stop in. I was expecting burgers, not loose meat sandwiches.
I don't know what I ordered because I didn't know what to order...the waitress helped out alot. Thank you lady in pink.
The only menu I saw was on the sign. I think a menu with photos would be awesome for customers so they can make some decisions. Photos of your menu items will help alot...especially for first timers.
The Loose Meat Sandmwich:
I must first say that I'm guessing the Sandwich is an aquired taste.
The taste, smell and texture of the sandwich was that of canned corned beef hash. I was expecting ground beef, like the sandwiches Rosanne had at her TV restruant. This meat was the product of being ground into a paste. It was also salty for me, which is unusual for me to say because I always put alot of salt of stuff. Even though I didn't like the sandwich, I struggled finished it because I didn't like the texture or taste. It was very filling though.
The bun was pretty dense.
The Fries:
The fries initially smelled like your mom made fish sticks and then made fries in the same oil right after I don't think they fry fish sticks so I'm guessing the oil needs changed?
After the first few bites of fries, the smell and taste went away. I enjoyed the fries.
Root beer float:
It was a root beer float.... it was good.
In summary, I would not go back for the sandwich but would like to come back to try other items on the menu like the chilli cheese dog and fries.
I love corned beef hash, however this loose meat wasn't for me.
Give it a try, you...
Read moreFor a "inner city" place, I and the driver, a cousin, were very, very impressed. From the curbside, in person ordering, to the extensive food and beverage possibilities. Each of us ordered food and drink(they offer much larger quantities, To Go. Took a very reasonable amount of time for our orders to arrive, our most gracious Hostess was most kind in bringing something out specifically for my spoiled rotten companion, Marley. Taking it completely, then licking. Then looking at me, asking silently where her's was. Then, after smelling, turned back to her little dish. Eventually shredding it. Making a wee mess too Our entire experience, from get on through to our going, was a long string of ACES. Whenever, hopefully much sooner than much later, that place will be on my list. A little forward thinking, I'll take their largest to go Root Beer, perhaps a T -shirt, to go. But first I'll be trying something new, each and every time. If you like fast friendly service, a nicely equipped menu, darn good food. Please don't go. Please. But if you insist. Try to enjoy yourself thoroughly. Finally. As a huge kindness, as that gal works so very hard. Please do be a tad generous in showing your appreciation for the great job she...
Read moreWe popped by for a burger. I wasn’t sure how things “work” here and we were lucky enough to have a kind person parked next to us who was able to explain how it works.
Upon arrival, find a place to park, and wait for a staff member to come take your order. Once they take your order, they’ll take your payment. After some time they’ll bring your receipt and food. There aren’t any speakers or anything like that to place your order.
We ordered two orders of fried mushrooms, one order of onion rings, one chili cheese burger, and one whiz burger with mayo. The Whiz is a “loose meat” burger with cheese and the chili cheese burger is a “loose meat” burger with chili seasoning. If you’re not familiar with what a “loose meat” burger is—Think ground beef with diced onions then add on whatever toppings you’d like. I found it to be underwhelming.
I had really high hopes for this place and sadly we were both disappointed. We went at noon and they were busy. I was let down when all three side orders arrived tepidly warm at best and the burgers weren’t any different. Our entire meal felt very much like it had all been prepared in a big batch two hours ago, kept “warm” until bagged up, and sent out.
I’d tell anyone who asked me-go...
