Subway — Restaurant in Independence

THIS IS THE WORST SUBWAY EVER!! Let me tell you about my visit on Friday evening. I should have know as soon as I walked in this was not the place to eat. The place hadn't been cleaned, the food area had empty sauce bottles just laid on the veggie counter, the veggies hadn't been stocked and it looked like a war zone. I got past all that and stepped up to order. I should have stopped when every bread that I was asking for they did not have. I still moved on and ordered. Once the subway lady got done toasting both footlong sandwiches, at the same time, I began to tell her what to put on my husbands sandwich. I always tell them one item at a time because my husband wants extra. She looked at me and said with attitude that I can tell her everything he wants on it at one time. So when I got to my sandwich I told her all at once. She only put the sauce not the spinach and tomato. I then said something to her. She rolled her eyes. When she went to ring up my sandwiches I noticed that she had put in the wrong one and I spoke up about it. She got pissed and threw my sandwiches on the back counter and told me to get out. There was a very nice gentleman who started my order who I thought was very polite (The 2 stars go to him). I had to wait a while in line because it was just him upfront and I felt bad for him because I thought he was staffed by himself. Then a female worker with long braids finally comes out of the back. She came out of the back, never washed her hands or changed her gloves. She was instantly extremely rude for someone who chilled in the back for a good 15 mins while the line continued to grow.. she acted like she had better things to be doing, with a horrible attitude to match..I asked for lettuce and she literally threw it on my sandwich. Then when I asked for mayo, I guess I wasn’t loud enough and she motioned me to hurry up with her hand like I wasn’t the one waiting in line… She lacked all customers service skills like she never worked a day in her life. When it was time for me to pay, she told me my total and walked straight to the back. Didn’t even stay to finish the transaction… I could of walked out without paying if I wanted to… I hope she finds an easier job, where she doesn’t have to...

I ordered by Club sandwich online and when I returned to work ready to eat I see that there is no roast beef. The issue is not that the store was out of roast beef but that at no point did they tell me. The online system allowed me to order and pay for something they could not properly make. The workers in the store did not call to see if they could add anything in it's place or if I would like to change my order. When I picked my food up from the store I spoke with the girl working and she did not bother to inform me of any of this. Most disappointing is that when I opened my sandwich they did not even give me more of the other meats that go on the sandwich they just shorted me. I called to speak to a manager and he was not in, the girl I spoke to stated she printed off my receipt and took my name and number so management could call me that evening. I never received a call so I called the next day and Gary (the manager) answered the phone and while I an explaining who I am and the situation, tells me to call back later and hangs up.
