Thai Spice Independence — Restaurant in Independence

Tried for the last time today. I have been to this location twice, and the location at 40 mad i70 many times. The first time I came to this location we sat down. There were three of us. The waitress was very rude to me. She would ignore me, give me the nastiest looks. For some reason the other row guests deserves to be treated with respect but she would act like she didn’t hear anything that involved extra work, like getting a to go box.

Today I went in and there was a sign at the door that said to wait to be seated. So I waited. The same waitress was at the back counter with another woman. The rude waitress had a nasty look on her face. I was confused as I was waiting at the door like the sign said. I knew she was hard to deal with though, so I went ahead and walked up to the back counter. The lady kept looking at me with disgust. I said I wanted a to go order. She looked at me like I was dumb and then walked off. Never said a word. The other woman was much nicer, but I was basically wondering at that point why I even entered the door. I asked if it was necessary for her to treat customers so badly and explained both experiences briefly. I also said the other location was so much nicer, and it is. (The food quality is actually better too.) The woman said she was sorry. I left right after that.

I don’t know why that woman is in the service industry. She has absolutely no clue how to...

Well for the third time now I stopped by, first 2 times they were closed when sign said open. Today my boss had called in an order for me to pick up and...I will NEVER step foot in that place again. Went up to the counter, woman at register was busy, I know that lunch rush is a risk anywhere but...I stood there for almost 10 minutes and finally spoke up to the 2 women going back and forth. 1 asked if the order had been called in, yes I replied. That was the last time either one of them spoke to me, acknowledged me zip, nada..nothing. Man sitting at the counter said, good luck, I've been here over 20 minutes and they won't even talk to me, he said he would leave but his order was already paid for. I continued to stand next to the register and AGAIN asked can you please tell me anything about my order? Absolutely not 1 word was spoken, both turned their backs to me and walked away...I left, my boss started calling immediately when I got back and continued calling until I left at 3pm and not once did they answer the phone, boss is out her money and no lunch. So disrespectful and rude...NEVER AGAIN. And I'll be spreading the word to everyone...

Was there last week for lunch and the waitress we had seemed to be very bothered by our presence. It took a long time before we got to order and get our food. I ordered few things that I had always enjoyed since it had been a while since I ordered something from this location. Again, didn’t get our food for the longest time and the chai tea I ordered wasn’t properly mixed. We didn’t get our soup that came with the lunch until we had to ask for it. She came only one time to check on us after she brought the app and after that we didn’t see her until someone else brought our tickets and got us Togo box. I paid with my card and No I didn’t tip her because she didn’t do her job and I didn’t enjoy the experience but the food was good as usual( I used go to their other location a lot). Today, after my credit card payment posted I noticed the total was wrong and pretty sure it was illegal for her to add tips to the ticket that had been clearly marked no tip with the total amount and signed.
