My wife and I are visiting Independence, Ohio. We are staying at the fabulous Red Roof Inn on Quarry Lane. We were out shopping , and became hungry for a good burger. My wife did a search , and found that the Wendy's dining room on Dockside Road is open till 10 p.m. The atmosphere of this Wendy's is remarkable. It is very modern and classic at the same time, if you will. The artwork on the walls was inspirational and beautiful. The staff are so outgoing and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The employee who served us was so outgoing and accommodating, it made me feel as if he was a long time friend. The food was delicious. The French fries were hot and salty , just the way we like them. Our order was perfectly made , even napkins were included, and no ketchup on our burgers. Restaurants always overlook these details for us it seems. The dining room was spotless, and quiet , and quaint. The outside of the building can be mistaken for a bank , or a City Hall if a downtown metropolis. I give this place 5 stars and a 10 out of 10 on our foodie scale. We will definitely be back soon . Read moreThis was the worst service that I have experienced at a Wendy's. When my family and I entered an empty lobby with a nice amount of workers to produce great food and service. There was no courtesy or urgency to provide great customer service. As I ordered five meals, it seemed like there were many issues happening with orders at the drive thru. This should have been my red flag to cancel order and leave, but I was being optimistic that it would turn out right for my order. I was so wrong. The burgers that I ordered were not the correct ones - there is a difference between the son of a baconator and baconator. I also ordered a new chicken sandwich but received a burger patty instead of chicken. The presentation of the food was made sloppy with no care for their job or repeat business. I understand this is a fast food restaurant, but I imagine that I would have a better experience than this especially not receiving the right food after spending over $60. I am very disappointed with this location, their service, and food. I will never return to this...
Read moreI have one thing to say. Employees in fast food restaurants, it would be greatly appreciated if there was no attitude given because I or anyone else requested HOT FOOD. To bag half of an order then sit the bag on the counter awaiting the rest of the order is not a smart move. Of course my partially bagged food is cold at this point. There was, and I counted, a 15min time lapse..because it was asked for hot fries to go with a fresh hot sandwich was a fault of the customer? I think not. Ill accept getting my food last, after ordering first.and even having to go home and reheat my partially warm foods. BUT!!! what I shouldn't have to accept is a customer service attitude for an employee when I was polite and courteous. I wonder how many of them Employees would react if the shoe was on the other foot.. just curious.
