Bearno's Pizza — Restaurant in Indiana

The service there from the bartender lady. Was very disrespectful and rude as all get out and when my in-laws haven’t been out for a very long time just the two of them. Want to go and enjoy their selves and have just a little pizza and something to drink or something to do with each other can’t even do that. The Lady that was the bartender was throwing food, slamming things, cussing my in-laws out and refusing to give them a refund before they even touched any food because of the service from her. I don’t care what you have going on in your life you don’t bring it to work you don’t treat your elders disrespectfully I hope to visit this place soon and I hope that lady is there. I have a few select words for her and I have a few select words for the manager there. I see that this restaurant has almost 5 reviews and I’d hate to see it go down because of their service. nobody deserves to be fired but she does need to apologize to my in-laws and the veteran on here that has also wrote a review. They do not deserve the service that she has treated them with. I understand everybody has their days but you don’t treat others that way. It’s very sad that when older couples want to come and enjoy a atmosphere such as this place because everybody has such good reviews about it but also, I’ve seen reviews that are veterans that have fought to protect our freedom our elders that have raised us, and taught us to be respectful, and taught us to be polite and to other people. but when you come across a waitress that wants to cuss at people and throw food at them, refused to give the money back because she is being very rude and treat people the way she does. it does not matter the day that you have I work in a factory. I work around a bunch of drama, but here’s the thing you leave it at the door you take a deep breath before you go in and all your drama you leave at the door behind you and that’s where it stays you do not bring it to work that being said, I hope to see this girl very soon cause I have a few select words I would like to say to her for the way that she has treated my in-laws they are older couple and will not be treated this way. It cost absolutely nothing to pay to be nice to other people, and treat people...

CORPORATE BEWARE!!!!

I have lived in Floyds Knobs for several years now. My friends have suggested Bearno's saying they have amazing food. Tonight I stopped in and gave them a try.

They weren't really busy. We got there around 6-6:30. We sat in the bar at a table. Our server comes and gets our drink order. About 10 minutes pass and she takes our food order. The server dropped our food off and was gone for over 20 minutes. We ordered the Submarine and chicken sandwiches. We noticed that they weren't dressed like they were supposed to be from the picture on the menu. We couldn't ask our server because she was gone. Instead of letting our food get cold, we ate. The submarine wasn't bad but the chicken was disgusting. It had no flavor at all. The cheese didn't even have a flavor. It reminded me of when my mom used to make dog food with boiled chicken. Bland and unseasoned. I decided to go ask another server for our bill.

We asked our server when she finally returned, smelling like a stale cigarette, about why the sandwiches weren't dressed. We asked if they had lettuce, tomatoes, and onion? She said she wasn't sure if they did or not. She grabbed the check and the plates and says she went to her manager. When she returned she stated that the manager took $5.00 off our bill. The manager, Sherri, never came out from the back. Did the server even tell the manager? The only reason we know the managers name is because we asked the girl at the hostess stand. Our check shows a $5.00 discount from some kind of promotional thing that is going on. I have a copy of the receipt.

What bothers me about this is that NOTHING was really done to correct or rectify the situation. It will happen again. That is just wrong and...

Pizza is mediocre at best. Wings are good IF the fryer is ever working, which it probably isn’t because the place isn’t taken care of.(i.e. broken bathroom doors, urinals, sinks, halfway finished floors, miss matched and missing lighting)Management fails to recognize and resolve problems. Bartenders run this store more so than anybody. Don’t be surprised when you show up at night for a beer and can’t get in because the doors are locked early or the bartenders have called last call well before closing. If you sit outside, don’t sit to the right of the side door, it’s where everybody goes to take a piss. It shouldn’t be hard to miss, the concrete is green. They have faced multiple complaints for false advertisement because they refuse to take down signs advertising drinks at lower prices than what they are being sold, and you won’t be told about the price change until you receive your tab because the bartenders don’t believe it’s their job to tell you. If you are worried about a clean place to go during covid, don’t go here. The side bar had cigarette ash on it that hadn’t been wiped off in two weeks. If it takes forever to get service or your food, it’s probably because they will try to run the store with one person, because god forbid paying two people $2.13 an hour for the sake of the consumer... This is definitely the low end when it comes to Bearnos restaurants in...
