It kills me to leave a bad review for a restaurant. I will say I do like Beef Obradys food, and started to stop in regularly for specifically Chicken Wings (which are good - sometimes). Anyway, stopped in last Wednesday when they had .99 cent wings with my lady. We both prefer only flats. We were sitting at the bar and the bar tender seemed to be having to waitress tables as well. Once she was finally able to take our orders we requested our wings (all flats). I was informed that they cannot provide us all flats on Thursday (wing special day). I then asked if we could pay an upcharge or full price - I really didn't care - I just wanted wings. They said they could not do so even at full price on this particular day, but any other day of the week they can do to some policy from corporate.
Needless to say, we paid for our drinks and went to an establishment that caters to their clients. I will not be back to Beef OBradys in the future. If they cannot provide me with what I request, I will go to somewhere that can.
Last note - it seems they have been short staffed. I stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago, ordered wings and ordered a extra side of sauce. I was sitting at the bar. The wings were delivered with hardly any sauce. I sat and waited over 15 minutes for the bartender to show back up so I could re-request my side of sauce. The bartender was busy with other tables and never showed up. I ended up walking back to the Kitchen where I found someone that was helpful in providing me with the pre-requested cup of sauce.
There are definitely management issues with this facility, Maybe once those issues are resolved we...
Read moreWhile at Beef O'Brady's my daughter happened to be there before me with my grandchildren. Upon my arrival I sat down at a Cable in a booth that was unstable. It teeter totter like you was on a seesaw! As I put my forearm down the table moved quickly and I register for a glass of tea to keep it from falling and knocked it over by accident. Although the little waitress was helpful with towel paper to clean up the mess my grandson needless to say was soaking wet. They should not have had the table like a seesaw anyway. How sure them this was not something that just happened. Upon paying the check I had a $5 off $30 purchase. Or $3 off of 15. When I paid the $55 check to the waitress and handed her the coupon, she came back with my change and informed me that she could not take the coupon off. Because I got a 2 for 20 deal. I guess I should have split the order up! But no one bothered to ask or make up the fact that everyone on the other side of the table. Soap with tea. Because of a table that should have not been teetering like a seesaw to start with. So I ask for the manager- owner, when he came to the table and I asked him about the coupon he informed me that he just could not basically afford it. Since we got such a good deal on his 2 for 20 special. But never mind us having tea on our laps. I informed him that if he needed the $3 or 5 that much that it would be no problem I just would not come back to his restaurant. Of course what do you expect in...
Read moreWent in for my birthday dinner tonight. I stood at the host stand for a while until I got seated which, cool okay whatever. We got seated. Over server was Maddie. We placed our drink orders and appetizer order as well as our food order. The apps and waters came out fine. And one cocktail came out. Then the salad paired with my steak came out soon after the appetizers. I sat without a fork unable to eat my salad for a good five minutes until the waitress came back with everyone else’s food. When she did we asked for forks. She brought them without a knife so now I was unable to eat my steak. I didn’t wanna bother her anymore so I sat there waiting until she returned. When she did I finally got my knife I began to eat my entree and halfway through I told my husband I’d no longer like my cocktail I ordered as we was about to leave. Soon after that they came. I asked for mine to be taken off and it was. As a bartender myself I was kinda shocked at the service and the fact I had to ask for all of my utensils and remind her I ordered a coke AND a water (but I dropped salsa in my water. Lol my fault but with me asking for so many things I was unable to ask for a new water so I never drank a water and had to go to the gas station across the steeet and buy one after my visit) I’m gonna try to go out to eat somewhere else for my birthday dinner because that kinda...
