Number one we got there everything was fine with a great server order our food and I ordered the Popeye and it was terrible all dried up inside no juice hardly any food inside I ordered another pot pie thinking it would be 100% better it wasn't it was just as bad well the server took it back and the manager came no smile know how are you no nothing see how we were doing and concerning what the problem was she stood there and said you ordered one pot pie and then you ordered another one will take one off but you're going to pay for the other pot pie she demanded that out of us so I got very upset over it I work with customer service everyday and you don't talk to people like that especially being a manager it's very wrong very very wrong so I said I wanted to get some soup like my friend had in the place of the pot pie since when we don't do that we can't give you that kind of soup out of them the courts my friend ordered a court to go and she just ate some there I didn't know that I wasn't aware of that so she was very non non manageable at that point so my friend Debra was telling her everything how I was feeling about it when the other manager showed up I got upset and I had a right to be upset she said the other manager came to our table said she was going to ask us to leave and we were upsetting her customers who did she think we were we were customers and it was very wrong of her to say that so we did order the soup then the soup didn't have potatoes in it it was all soup no potatoes that place we've been going to for 9 years in Camby Heartland Crossing Indiana Heartland Crossing Camby Indiana I have seen good managers very good managers leave and I've seen just recently the places went downhill so bad it's not like it used to be when you went there family huh they don't treat no one like a family especially this new manager her name is Cheryl didn't get the last name but she's been there only about a couple months couple weeks so I don't know but I wanted to turn this in because I felt like I was being treated very wrong as a customer she needs to go back to school be trained how to treat people right that's all I have to say about...
Read moreThe last three times we tried to eat at this location they can’t decide where to seat you or who wants to wait on the next customers, they openly have a back and forth in front of you while your waiting to be seated. You either get someone that is very attentive or someone that doesn’t check back on you until the check is brought to you, we were out of drink for half the meal. Previously Someone’s beard or mustache hair was on my eggs and the waitress actually tried to tell me that it was egg hairs….. it was clearly facial hair. Today same thing happened but in addition to the squabble about who’s table/section is next. customers were seated next to us that have what could possibly be a service dog but no indication that it was, no harness, no collar just a rope as a leash. While they were waiting they stood by our table with the dog shaking and flipping like dogs do when they’re wet. I’m highly allergic so I didn’t finish my meal, we had to leave because my eyes were starting to water profusely and my throat tighten up, I was coughing so bad by the time I got outside that I almost threw up. I understand service dogs and the need but they are not the only customers in the restaurant and others should be asked if they are ok with a dog being seated near them so that there is an opportunity to inform them of allergies instead of bringing a dog that’s flinging hair and dandruff where food is being served in close quarters or at the very least put the customer with the dog in a less busy area. This location definitely needs assistance in training in cleanliness, customer service and what is and isn’t appropriate in front...
Read moreWe have lived in this area for over 20 years and Bob Evans was a go to place for a friendly mean. But in recent times it gets a rating of 50 /50. And one particular manager seems to not like hearing when there is an issues ( sometimes issues happen) and becomes very rude to the customers. Unfortunately we never know when that one manager is there to avoid the place at that time. Guess that explains why there were only 4 cars in the parking lot when we were there last. A manager with a chip on their shoulder will run off otherwise good customers. And any manager worth their weight in salt would never become abusive or insulative with a paying customer when an issue arises.
Update to response:
I appreciate your response to quickly. But where is the assurance that this is actually being addressed with this ineffective shift manager? How will or will this kind of attitude be corrected? That is what those that read these reviews want to hear in an owner's...
