Well just let me start with my frustration with Flux. I brought an iPad with a broken screen to this location more than 3 weeks ago. The unit worked when I dropped it off, just needed the screen replaced. I was told the screen replacement should only take a few days. After not hearing anything for 7 days I stopped by the location to check on the repair. I was told that they were waiting on parts and it should only be a few more days and they would call me with any updates or delays. 14 Days later I stopped by again, since their was no communication from Flux. The person their told me that the iPad's screen was replaced but it would not power up anymore (this iPad was working when I brought it in). He explained additional parts had to be order because had damaged the iPad while replacing the screen and it would not function any more. They told me additional parts were on order to make the iPad function and it should be a few more days. I explained that this iPad was used in my business and they only response was sorry we broke it and they would give it back to me (non functional) if I liked. What great customer service, I am being sarcastic if you can't tell. Now I am not sure if I will ever get this iPad back in working condition, or if they will ever contact me with any updates. I will definitely never use this place again and will tell anyone looking for repairs on computers, iPad's, iPhone's, etc to avoid this place.
UPDATE: Just got my iPad back from Flux (took almost 4 weeks). They charged me for the original repair and to replace a part that the technician broke while installing the screen (led back light). The iPad was working fine when I brought it in, just had a cracked screen. They told me that the led back lights go out all the time on iPads, even though the unit was less than a year old. I paid the bill and racked it up to bad decisions. I definitely will not use there...
Read moreHello, I took my laptop to Flux Technologies Repair and they completely busted my $2K laptop. Soooo sloppy and disorganized. I took my laptop in for a 1 TB upgrade where they cracked the case, broke the internal wifi antenna and gave me in hand the 1 TB part ordered and paid for for installation. On top of it all they did not honor their policies or word, nor replied to my financial institution regarding the dispute. I crapped out with Flux Tech Repair and its questionable employees and owner John. I never got my money back for the upgrade and now am stuck with a busted machine done by Flux who's employees quoted, we are done serving you after the 5th visit in a month to correct their error. They gave up! You know where they can go....! Then I had to take my laptop to Best Buy Geek Squad whom could not believe the mess of the laptop. Now I'm out another 1K to repair the damage Flux has caused. New 1 TB, Wifi Antenna and cracked case after service is my basis for legal action. Their located in the Camby Meijer Grocery store. Avoid if at all possible. Seek services in Mooresville, Plainfield and Avon for our area and not Camby Meijer's Flux Computer Repair. As one of my associates I would end there employment at Flux based on customer service, indecency . Read moreI brought my lab top computer and my tablet to be fixed and it's been over a month. During that month they didn't keep me updated, I had to call most of the time. The lab typed worked just find whn I dropped it off for them to replace the battery 🔋. Now a month a couple weeks my computer they say is Unreparable and doesn't come on. Saying they try to due an update ( wich I didn't ask for) after replacing the battery and it didn't go well 😳. So now I can even use my labtop at all. 😔 The tablet Supposedly took so long because they're supplier sent them the wrong screen over 5 or 6 times. It took over 5 to 6 weeks for that to get fixed. I'm so upset about my labtop. That's like taking your car to get a new battery put in ,only for your car not to work at all. All the could say was sorry .After PRESSING them for some type of Compensation for them ruining my computer and the my time waiting for my item.They just just took off $40 for the screen being placed on the tablet. I😭😭 rather have my labtop. So If you value your electronics / time don't take them there.
