"Memories on a Platter: A Tribute to Gracie's Restaurant"

As I sit down to recount the chapters of my life, there's one place that stands as a beacon of warmth, flavors, and cherished memories—Gracie's Restaurant. Nestled in the heart of our town, it was more than just a place to dine; it was a sanctuary where culinary delights intertwined with the magic of growing up.

Every week, without fail, my family and I would make our pilgrimage to Gracie's. The anticipation would build as we approached the entrance, where the serene beauty of the koi fish pond greeted us. Those majestic creatures gliding gracefully beneath the surface seemed to whisper tales of time gone by.

One of the most enchanting aspects of those visits was Gracie herself. With a smile that could light up even the gloomiest of days, she would welcome us with open arms. As a child, I was captivated by her generosity, especially when she handed me fish treats to feed the koi. Little did I know then that this simple act would become a cherished tradition, one that I would witness continue years later as her daughter guided a new generation of diners.

The culinary delights served at Gracie's were nothing short of extraordinary. From the crispy corn nuggets to the delicate crab Rangoon, each dish was a testament to the passion and skill of the chefs. And oh, the sauces—carefully crafted masterpieces that danced on the palate and left an indelible mark on the taste buds.

But it wasn't just the food that made Gracie's so special; it was the people. Gracie and her family were more than just restaurateurs; they were guardians of happiness, architects of joy, and creators of lasting memories. Their kindness knew no bounds, and their warmth enveloped every diner who walked through the door.

As I grew older, life took me on different paths, but the memories of Gracie's remained etched in my heart. So, when I returned as an adult, it felt like stepping back in time—a familiar embrace that welcomed me home. The sight of Gracie and her family, still radiating that same warmth and hospitality, brought tears of joy to my eyes.

And then, there were the fortune cookies—those tiny, paper-wrapped treasures that held the promise of destiny within. As a child, I would eagerly crack one open, savoring the excitement of unraveling its message. To experience that ritual once more, surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds of Gracie's, was nothing short of magical.

To Gracie and her family, I extend my deepest gratitude. Thank you for creating a haven where memories were woven into every dish, where kindness flowed as freely as the sauces, and where the spirit of generosity knew no bounds. You have left an indelible mark on my heart, and for that, I am...

I tried to call in a take out order and was told that since I was called in to work and missed picking up my last take out order (I attempted to call and cancel, no one would ever answer the phone. At this point I think they ignored my calls on purpose as they have caller ID), I'm not allowed to place another order. They have no understanding of what it means to be called in, I suppose. Do not recommend if you're a busy person who may be called in to work. In my opinion, if it went under new management it would be worth it. Until then, keep your food that is hardly fresh in your store. Terrible customer service. Edit: since posting this review, I have had to block Gracie and her family on any form of social media as she was going through my pages and harassing people who were simply friends of my page on social media. Any attempt to talk to her to rectify the situation ends with her cussing me out or simply screaming over me. Both myself and my fiance, who isn't even involved in this, have tried to pay for the order I was unable to pick up and are always told no, even though her chief complaint was over the cost of the food. She has been heard exaggerating the story to customers in her store saying my order was $150 when it was only $25. I truly never believed that a misunderstanding would amount to all this harassment, it is truly ridiculous how immature she has shown herself to be and I hope she stops taking out her anger over other issues on...

This place has rude ownership and I've received multiple undercooked/contaminated meals. I used to be a regular here because of the bold flavors, coupled with fast and friendly service from MOST of the employees.

However, I noticed rubbery, undercooked chicken in my carry-out once. Thinking it was an isolated incident because no cook is perfect and sometimes even the most cautious and experienced people make mistakes, I ran by the restaurant another time to get a beef entree. I ended up with pretty severe food poisoning within hours of eating it. Both of the times I called to speak with Gracie, she argued with me very militantly about how I did not have food poisoning and that all her meat is fully cooked every time a dish is served (she refused to inspect the chicken). I don't care how good food is if I'm going to get sick from eating it. If you value not being cursed at for a complaint and staying away from foodborne illness, avoid this place...

First off all exceptional service, food and ambience of this place. When I visited this place there was no wait time as there was just one other family except for us dining at the restaurant. They were swamped with online order but that didn't let the service slow down. The soup was just right off the bat great, later we ordered chicken noodles and beef appetizer which had a good portion size. They have a good fish aquarium which adds up to the beauty of this restaurant. If you're craving for some hot and fresh Chinese food this is the place you need to visit.

Super people, great place - i highly recommend. I'll be back again before I go 5 stars, but I can see why this place has so many awards and recommendations. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon are great. The curry is fantastic. Everyone was super helpful and on top of things. The food came out quick. They even have a koi pond and waterfall inside! Prices were elevated a bit, but no complaints from me. It was worth it. They brought me some tiramisu just because. Thank you!
