My husband went there last night and picked up some fish and chicken. Got home and we started eating. Realized that the chicken was RAW!!! Not undercooked a little but freakin RAW!!! Took it back today only to hear that they couldn't give a refund because it was no longer in the computer...but could give a replacement of the food. Un let's see.....I don't think so!!! What makes you think I am going to eat any more food from here if it was not prepared properly the first time? So he asked for a corporate number and the girl Brandy gave him a number but no one had a corporate number to call. Also she said we should have taken the food back as soon as we seen it was not right. Well we hot the food right before they were closing and by the time we noticed it was RAW they had already closed. Funny thing is she said they were open for an hour after my husband had come in to get the food. But of course she also said they couldn't pull anything up in the system. Bull Crap!!! So if you want food poisoning or raw food go on in and eat!! They need to shut this place down ...PERIOD!!! No one knows anything there and no one can or will do anything about this place serving raw food. This is not how you run a restaurant! !! So needless to say I will NEVER eat here again and I will be sure to share with friends and...
Read morePurchased the #1 combo for $9.19 and the amount of slaw was ridiculously small. I have never in my life taken a meal back, but they were also out of catsup so I went back and asked for catsup. After the young man handed me four packets of catsup, I asked “ is that all the slaw that comes with this meal?” He replied “that’s a scoop full”, then turned his back to me and walked to the drive thru window. I’m not even that crazy about their slaw, but I guess it was just the fact of the amount that I paid and got maybe two teaspoons of slaw with the meal. The fish also seemed under-cooked as well, although I didn’t complain about that. I pass by this location often and I rarely see many cars or patrons in their establishment. I assume things like this might be partly why. I am amazed at how they can afford to stay open. I dislike seeing any of our area restaurants go out of business, but wouldn’t be surprised at all to see this happen. Hope they can improve things and be successful, but I for one won’t ever be going back...
Read moreWhen I went to this ljs on my lunch break today. When I got in I was greeted with a smile and helpful service. While I was ordering my food the cashier helped me with my order and made sure I got what I wanted. When I ordered my food there was a wait time for my chicken. For some people that may have bothered but I didn't mind seeing as who can argue about a plate right out the grease? Anyway when I got my food, WOW it was hot and fresh just like I imagined. Not only the chicken and fish but the fries and hush puppies where just as fresh and just as delicious. It's definitely the ljs I've had in a long time and definitely worth the wait. I even got a laugh out of there shirts that reads "Shrimping ain't easy" on the back. This was worth the stop, worth the money, and worth writing a great review everyone at this ljs keep up...
