Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Indiana

Terribly inconsistent. Wait forever and have to return or get it remade every time. I don’t know why I even try anymore. I get one of these almost everyday for two years from the new Albany location in Ohio and the 82nd in Indy both have never had issues. At Whitestown it’s either too much Splenda, not blended with chunks of ice, different color each time I order the Pomegranite plunge. If I get a fat burner or energizer the whole pill is in it. Or no sugar at all to too much regular sugar. Or it’s blended so you have to work at it sucking it through the straw. They see my name everyday and still make it wrong. I waited 30 min for an app order only to have to return it. The drive through ask me to repeat myself every time it’s a running joke between my husband and I. Understaffed and rushed. They constantly run out of regular size cups. So I get two kid sized . They ran out today on National Smoothie day while offering a free smoothie deal🤣. What a joke. I used to work at a Tropical Smoothie when I was younger, so I can say for sure that this location just gave me the worst experience I have ever had. It started with a smeared, paper note taped to the drive through stating it wasn’t working. Upon walking inside there was music blaring but the three employees all had headphones in and didn’t remove them to speak with customers. I was handed a smoothie than needed to be blended a second time that was dripping all down the cup. When we got our food the quesadilla was missing ingredients, half stuffed, and uncut and my chipotle chicken club didn’t have the bacon on it that it should. Whoever is over this location needs to re-train their employees pronto! This was extremely disappointing, especially as I visit this location regularly when I take the interstate. I came to this brand new location in whitestown 3 times. The first time was great and very pleasant people were working. The 2nd and 3rd time, not so much. The females working had a very snappy attitude and cut me off in the middle of speaking which actually lead me to not order anything. I highly suggest switching up your staff having a brand new location in Whitestown. I don't want to go back because of these women.
