I will start out by saying that I had no issue with the quality of my food. - (Accuracy of the order could use some work though.) My big issue is the fact that they expect everyone to use their self serve kiosks- which can only be used with credit or debit cards. If I was traveling myself this would not be an issue but I had a bus load of hungry high school students with me. With the exception of one student, they all had cash only. The worker said they would all have to be rung up at the counter. It took forever for her to actually decide to start ringing them up. She seemed very annoyed that she actually had to do this. With only one person taking orders it took a very long time to get everyone's order placed and for them to all receive their food. I don't see how anyone can think that this is the best way to run a business. I know that being right off the interstate they must get school groups/teams stopping there often. Most kids only have cash on them!!! This is not an efficient way to get them served an back on the road. Over the years we have stopped at this Wendy's many times. When they had two or three cashiers taking orders it was a nice quick stop and we could be on our way. We will no longer be stopping here because this is too much hassle. If you plan to bring a school team here you may want to reconsider unless you have a lot of time to kill. Also, after reading other reviews, I guess we showed up on the rare day that the dining room was actually open. This restaurant has really...
Read moreGuess it common practice to ignore everything the customer asks for when placing an order. Must also be common practice to give people plain as can be, not even any mayo or ketchup that normally comes on the burgers if you don't ask for it, I literally order some burgers that depict having bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, onion, mayo, all that stuff on them and get a burger on a bun. How hard is it seriously Bacon is in the name of the burger I ordered!! Could have at least slapped a couple strips on it along with the bun and burger itself. Laziness! Yet another one of my many extremely poor experiences out of this place. Now I remember why I stopped coming here for anything. It's okay though this will be my final and last time dinning here. Said this last couple of times I went here but decided to give them another chance. Next time I will go home and microwave some soup or something. This visit cemented it in my head for me. Ive never complained either and always been respectful so it's not like they remember me in a negative way and do it on purpose. I would avoid this fast food joint unless your looking to pay a bunch of money and get absolutely nothing that you ordered, or maybe the base of what you ordered minus everything that's supposed to be...
Read moreI was traveling from Illinois back to Virginia and had the unfortunate, inconvenient, opportunity to stop at this "fast-food restaurant". They had 2 other people in front of me, and they only had one register open. Instead of just taking all the orders for the patrons, cashier rang up each customer one at a time, then started preparing the current customer's order. It took the cashier 13 minutes to finish with the 2 in front of me, all the while there were other employees just standing around chatting with each other. Mind you, by the time I was being served, I had 3 more customers who had showed up and were waiting behind me. They could have easily opened a second register to help but they didn't. All I wanted was a soft drink and a coffee and I had to wait a total 15 minutes. That is not a fast-food restaurant. That was super slow service. To make matters worse multiple selections of fountain drinks were out. One of those employees could have refilled those but apparently standing around and chatting amongst themselves was more important. Thank God I only had to deal with that restaurant one time. If I lived in the area, they would've lost my business...
