After complaining to Applebee's and giving them an opportunity to address and resolve my complaint, I'm sharing my story publicly because it is clear to me Applebee's couldn't care less about my experience in their restaurant. I received a generic automated message thanking me for my feedback and " Here's a $10.00 off your next online purchase of $30.00 or more." THIS IS MY STORY: We arrived shortly after 4, there was a staffing issue, I understand this. A manager immediately took our drink order, but it took quite a while for someone (else) to return to take our food order. We placed our order. A couple was seated at the table next to us after we ordered drinks. When the food arrived, the burger was missing its toppings. It took at least 15 minutes for the waiter to check on us and bring the missing toppings. We waited a long time for someone to bring the bill, but they never did. I had to ask the hostess to bring our bill. The bill she brought included 2 iced teas and spinach dip that we hadn’t ordered. The table next to us heard our complaint and informed us that they’d ordered those things and our burger was on their bill. The hostess called 2 waitresses over to try to figure out how to correct the bills. Both tables explained multiple times what each had ordered. When the “corrected” bills arrived, the waitress first went to the other table. She apologized to them and happily explained that she’d comped certain items on their bill due to them being inconvenienced. Then she handed us our bill saying the items we didn’t order had been removed. I looked at my bill and saw that she’d labeled the items I didn’t order “comped” (they weren’t comped because they were items we never ordered). I said to my guest that I was insulted because the table who showed up after we did received an apology and a discount for their inconvenience, but all I received was a sloppily adjusted bill. And they made me wait longer, so I was more inconvenienced! 2 managers and a waitress took turns serving us, so I don’t know who “Jessica H” is (the name on the bill). The table next to us noticed the blatant disparity of treatment between us. They felt terrible about it and offered us money. We declined and told them it’s not their responsibility to make it right. I hate to believe our nationality played a role, but how would you explain the difference in treatment? During our meal a young black couple with a baby was seated behind us. They waited, but no one came to take their order. Eventually they got up and left, telling the hostess that they had never been acknowledged. Maybe we were all subconsciously stereotyped? I typically tip a minimum of 35%. The $6 I left this evening was way too much for the treatment...

Michael Archer or The Current Applebee's Corporate President needs to FIRE the Manager Vanessa at this location. On, Saturday, April 9, 2016, I visited this location with a group of Friends and I noticed a fly in my drink. Amanda (Waitress) immediately offered to replace the drink but, before she did she showed the glass to Vanessa (Manager). They both walked over to the table and Vanessa offered to replace the drink. When, I had them bring me a Sierra Mist, I noticed that their was another bug in the drink. I showed the glass to Amanda and she agreed because of the inconvenience that my bill should be cancelled; she did mention that she could not make this decision without Vanessa. Therefore, she walked over to ask her if the bill could be cancelled. Vanessa took the glass from Amanda and stated in front of my group of Friends that, "this must be back wash". She also got very defensive and mentioned that they've, "had issues with Fruit Flies since the Summer of 2015". At this moment EVERYONE in the party agreed that Vanessa should cancel the whole bill. After speaking with her for a few more minutes she stated that she would cancel the whole bill including one other guest that was on my bill. When Amanda passed out the bills, I also received one that ONLY excluded the drink I ordered. I asked Amanda if she heard Vanessa and Amanda stated that Vanessa changed her mind after she walked away from our table. Vanessa stated that she would ONLY take off my drink. I asked Amanda to please get her "Manager" again and we spoke again about the Lack of Customer Service that Vanessa was conveying and she then agreed to remove the whole bill again. But, as soon as she left the table, she told Amanda to charge me for my guest's meal and drink; this TOTALLY contradicts what Vanessa agreed to. Poor Amanda..! I asked her to have Vanessa visit the table again. I reminded Vanessa of her word to cancel the whole bill and she refused to cancel and I told her that I should not have to pay for HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from a MANAGER and FLIES in my Drinks!!!! She stated that she was going to call the Police. The Police came by and I paid my guest's portion of the bill but, this Manager (Vanessa) should've held to her word.    Read moreThis applebees is extremely racist! Myself and a coworker ordered togo here about a month ago and my complete order was incorrect. I ordered an app of spinach dip and an order of their bone in wings with a pepsi and received a burger with onion rings and bbq sauce on it and fries, this was the first error. My co worker ordered the choose three app and received a salad! And yes we will take the blame as the coworker that picked up did not check our food however when our food arrived at the office we then called the store and complained. We were told if we brought the food back in same day that it could be corrected! Yet when she took both orders in they refused saying that it was ordered and picked up at 1230pm that day and it was now 530! as normal people only get a lunch hour and can't just leave to return incorrect food. And the big issue is that this happened in July meaning that today marks a month and a half that I have yet to receive my order correctly made or a refund! I was told on two separate occasions that my meal would be replaced and I hate to think that Im being given the run around because of my skin tone yet my co work whom is caucasian received a replaced meal and a gift certificate within one week of the incident. So Im not sure what else there is to beleive. Our orders was on the same ticket and everything Im not sure why I am receiving the run around. I even decided against my better judgment today to return and pick my order up myself, and yet today my wings were burnt so bad to be ineatble (yes I paid for an order of wings, AGAIN! $11.00) and then when I tried to add a pepsi on I was told that they were not 0.99 EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE SEVERAL SIGNS STATING THAT ALL TO GO ORDERS WOULD GET A PEPSI FOR 0.99!!! SO OF COURSE I SAID FORGET THE PEPSI, BECAUSE THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS!!!
