This is overhyped and glorified because parents can bring kids here to play while they drink. There was a line out the door which is always a good sign… boy was I wrong. Was absolutely stunned at the such low quality service and food, I’ve never spent so much money to be this disappointed. Not one staff member seemed to have a sense of urgency. The host didn’t ask anyone in line how many people were in their party etc… no communication at all. We were waiting for about 30 minutes…. He went and got a family from the back of the line and seated them first out of 3 groups of people in front of them which all were party’s of 2. Then a server came up asking if we had a party of 5 and we said no…. We only have 2 people and the people behind us are only 2 etc… then the server says oh… the host will seat you and walks away. We weren’t seated for another 10 minutes as we watched them bus tables, again… with no sense of urgency once so ever. I’ve never seen people in this industry be so slow for how busy they were. Finally we are seated… we put in our drink order and appetizer order… our appetizer came out 30 minutes later… our sever not once came up to us to give us an update or anything… then as they sit down the appetizer and walk off we realize we were never even given any silverware to eat with… boneless wings with sauce all over them, we ate with our fingers because our sever never came back to check on us until our food was ready that’s when we were able to ask for utensils… when we got our food was even more disappointing. Food I could have bought at the grocery store, Thrown in the air fryer and cooked myself for way cheaper. For 16 dollars per entree I expected more. Also the boozy milkshakes are made with the one dollar individual shots you can get from the grocery store and they just stick it on the top and make you stir it yourself for an additional 6 dollars on top of the regular milkshake price! I spent 60 dollars for low quality food and service…. do not waste your money here! Could have eaten better at Apple bees or chilis for way cheaper and higher quality food. They wasted all their money trying to make the place look cool rather than provide decent...

I came to visit this establishment after seeing it recommended on TikTok and my experience was so very poor I can’t wait to share it for my followers. Upon entrance we were asked were we wanted to sit, outside or inside..we chose inside. Great. The lady who true enough could’ve been tired considering she left about 5 minutes after we arrived sat us in the complete back of the restaurant the seats should have been a last resort table. I didn’t pay any attention until I began noticing that as others arrived, they were being seated in the more general area of the restaurant. As, who I believe was the restaurant manager walked back to give us our orders I was standing in the front area to view how the seating arrangements looked, maybe they didn’t allow parties of 2 in that area, wrong because there were 2 parties of 2 there that arrived after us, only one group was there prior to our arrival and they were in the front general area. I began to get a little offended, so I asked my server, who I will say very nice “why were we seated in this booth, back here where the employees work and the garbage can is posted” Very calmly and nice as well. He explained that the area we were in is his designated work area and asked if we wanted to move. Which I should have done. Ok cool.. However! I must have offended some or are all of them because instead of just explaining “hey I see how this looks. That wasn’t our intention. I apologize, this is my waiting area” every employee including the AFRICAN AMERICAN MANAGER felt victimized and began talking about us to the point that one of the servers w blonde hair decided to give my daughter a very nasty look. Idk why she did it to the child and not her parent because at any moment we could’ve taken it there had I known the time of. Shortly after me mentioning the issue w the seating they decided to sit another group on our side mind you they’ve been sitting people to the right since we’ve been there, but the damage and the hostility was already done. I paid and left a tip considering my server was nice but I will see to it that my experience is shared because I was...

A terrible waste of money! I spent $26 for a burger, fries, and milkshake. The milkshake was the only good part. The burger was burned and totally dry and no flavor. I can’t believe they would serve it like that! The fries were nothing special, just plain thin fries like frozen Ore-Ida. I normally would have sent the food back to the kitchen but no one checked on us. Multiple staff members kept blaming the “new guy” for doing things wrong. Perhaps they should train their new staff better!? Also when we arrived no one would acknowledge us, we didn’t know where to go, how to order etc and we had to mill around a while until staff finally said something.

The woman who brought our food was super rude to my friend; she had ordered a kids meal and beer (since she wasn’t very hungry) and the staff member berated her telling her she shouldn’t have done that, and the new guy shouldn’t have let her order that. As if we would ever come back there again! When a different staff member took away my plate (still full of the dry and completely crumbled gluten free bun and half my charred burger and most of the fries) he asked me how everything was. I shrugged and frowned and started to say it wasn’t very good but he evidently didn’t want to listen because he walked away!

I saw many positive reviews about this place being good for gluten free options. They say that it’s designated on the menu. However, according to the menu, there are only 3 gluten free options: fries, milkshakes, and a bun. So I had to ask about all the toppings etc and the staff were totally uneducated. So I just had a plain burger which was horrible. Such a waste of money to eat gross food and be treated poorly by staff. Also one of the restrooms had no soap. They had an empty dispenser on the wall, and a pump container on the sink which was full of super watered down soap, and the pump didn’t even work. I tried to find a staff person to alert them, but they aren’t interested in service; no one would look at me or acknowledge me so we finally left. It was a very unpleasant...

So excited for this place to come to the neighborhood and offer something new and refreshing! I would absolutely return for drinks, but food leaves you wanting more. The staff is great, friendly, and generally knowledgeable of the menu items. The decor is amazing and kitschy and so fun. Each of the bathrooms has a different wallpaper that makes for a great selfie backdrop. I went opening weekend and ordered a salad with chicken and figured, "what the hell", I'll try the Talbott Street Fries too since it's a signature item. Both items looked great, but seemed to lack depth of flavor. The cheese sauce and white bbq on the fries were indistinguishable from each other and the pickled jalapeño seemed to be the only thing giving them flavor. The salad was a good size and pretty tasty. The chicken was seasoned well and I enjoyed the cornbread croutons. My friend ordered a smash burger and she reported that it was about a level above steak and shake burgers flavor wise, but a few levels above price point wise. With it being a smash burger and shoestring fries this is where our mind went! They have a great cocktail menu and my friend loved her spiked milkshake. I was really craving a classic margarita and noticed they had all the components. When I asked for one I was told they were unable to do this, which was kind of shocking. You just have to remove the orange juice from the Flazeda, but this was asking too much. This is a great spot for drinks and I did enjoy the Making Herstory on my second time there, but I feel like they can improve on the food. Hopefully will be back soon to try the fried chicken and give it another shot! The neighborhood could use another great spot!
