Ordered this from Grub Hub. Very disappointed with this order. Rave reviews on yelp and google, but I am less than satisfied. I have added pictures that I hope will help visually describe my grievances. My husband was somewhat satisfied with our order. I would not order from this establishment again in the future. I ordered stuffed jalapenos that were so under baked that I had to wash my fingers and mouth after one bite. They were so ugly and gross so I made sure to include a picture. I also ordered the pretzel appetizer. This was actually very delicious. The pretzels were amazing...the cheese is take it or leave it. I get a beer flavor, yes, and I do get a "cheese" flavor, but it leaves a lot to be desired. No spices, no real flavor, just IPA snot. I ordered, also the Hearty Mac, which is advertised as a macaroni and cheese with YOUR CHOICE of meat on top. Only given the 3 options of: chicken, pork, or beef, I chose pork and put a personal message that I wanted smoked sausage as my meat on top. I received pulled pork as you will see in the picture, and unfortunately, I have suffered from food poisoning from a different establishment with pulled pork, so I was unable to eat this dish that I dished out my precious disposable income. My husband tried the dish and noted that the macaroni, even with added spices was mushy and bland. He ordered a Bud's Burger, and it literally had no options, and came with nothing. Note that in the picture, the ketchup, mustard, and other toppings have been added. He hasn't even eaten this burger. It will probably end up in the dogs' dinner bowls. I ate a couple of the chips and they were soggy and gross. You'll also note a picture of chicken wings: they were pretty darn tasty and good looking. Make sure you grab some of the sauce though, because the chicken is quite dry. We ordered fries that were pretty tasty...Ore Ida tasty. We added condiments. They also label their to go sauces with dates, and the fact that your signature sauce has a worse sell date than your Ranch should tell you something. Silly idea. Put the date on the bottom...jeez. Not satisfied. Don't plan to order from this...
Read moreRUDE waitress. I called to order the Monday special and I asked if it would cost extra to get fries instead of chips. The guy said “Yes you can get fries” without answering the question. So I guessed it would be like $1 extra or something. When I got there, there were 2 waitresses who I will refer to as the first waitress who acted normally, and the Rude waitress. The first waitress told me the total is 13.08. I was like, I thought it was $9. She said “You got fries” I said “Well they didnt tell me it would be extra” The Rude waitress said “He is a cook, he doesnt know.” I gave the first waitress my card. The Rude waitress asked me to sign the receipt. I looked and saw they charged me $3 for the fries. I was kinda shocked, I said “Wow, if I had known it would be $3 I would have just gotten chips” Rude waitress said “Yep, its $3 to substitute a side. I said, “Ok but no one told me that.” I was so caught up in the price shock that I was about to shove the receipt in my pocket, I forgot they needed a signed one. Before I even realized my mistake, Rude waitress pointed to the other copy of the receipt and said “Can you sign this one, so she has a copy of the receipt you just wadded up” First. Why have someone answering the phone that doesn’t know prices. Second. Yeah I wadded up the receipt, I had a brain fart, there’s no reason to be rude about it. If January really is the slowest month for businesses, maybe staff shouldn’t be so rude to people...
Read moreWe went when it was devour in D time it was $35 for an appetizer 4 meats 4 sides and desseit was an amazing deal to say the least we got pulled pork 2 servings smoked sausage and rib tips all were delicious the pulled pork I would say was my favorite.. we have the pretzel cheese Beer appetizer which was very very good I recommend that. Their sauces were very good. They then we got the mac and cheese green beans coleslaw and fries. the mac and cheese although it was nothing to write home about was good enough.. the coleslaw was a vinaigrette which was quite honestly very unique and actually quite good. It reminded me of something I had in Michigan at an old Amish farm.. the fries were wrinkled fries the kind that you would get at the supermarket the green beans all do look very appetizing with ham actually did not have a lot of flavor unfortunately and we're rather disappointing almost kind of like flavorless like hospital food on the green beans. We sat on the patio and the service was very good waitress was very friendly. The price absolutely could not be be especially with the Devour Downtown going on for $35. And finally dessert we tried the strawberry cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. Also the helpings were very big so we had to take one of the cheesecakes home because we were stuff. The patio atmosphere was very nice as Main Street in Speedway has been redone excellently and it is really beautiful I recommend an...
