The Spark on Main — Restaurant in Indianapolis

The business owner Suni is very unpleasant. She will commit to an event and while the event is going on she will pull the coffee truck out and tell you that she is losing business without even giving the event a chance. She is rude and even though everything will be communicated in a precessional manner she will say she was not informed of things related to the event. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend her business to anyone. She claims she gave the event 2 days however she pulled out before the 2 days was even over. Technically in less than 24 hours. We were also blamed of not informing her of the low attendance which the meet director did send her an email regarding a team pulling out due to having interest in going somewhere else. The original commitment was for 5 sessions, she didn’t even give the chance for the other sessions. Moreover, she had made up her mind and decision to pull out prior to my conversation to her. She is being pleasant her in the response but in person she was not at all pleasant and was rather rude and unprofessional. After saying that she gave a heads up she actually asked her employee to pack up. So there was no turning back. I WOULD NOT recommend her business to anyone...

I’ll start with the good- very clean and nice inside. Friendly staff. And I am re-reviewing because the owner contacted me. Not only did she reimburse me for our previous meal, she gave my sister and I a $10 card to buy something at the coffee shop. We brought a friend and all 3 of us got the Carmel latte and monkey bread muffin with cream cheese frosting. Oh so decadent and GOOD. They even brought a pup cup out to our dog. 😋 Thank you Ciera for having us back again. Really appreciate you reading the review and responding. This time we will be back! Janet Flynn

But, the pumpkin pie spice latte was just gross. The guy that made it said it was “ earthy” and that was part of it but the spice itself didn’t taste good. No offer to make another drink. ( my sister ordered the same drink) I threw mine away. My bacon, egg, breakfast sandwich on a bagel was mediocre. The bagel had a decent taste but the egg and bacon tasted old and was not even a little warm. Very disappointed since we both live within walking distance of downtown speedway....

This is a usual spot for us, and 9/10 times it's a great experience, with super friendly staff and delicious coffee. Sunday morning however, was a different take. It was business as usual when I arrived and my partner and I ordered two drinks. As we were waiting for the drinks, the two girls behind the counter were more concerned with laughing and making snide comments about what I had ordered. One of them said "that's the most disgusting drink I've ever heard of" as she visibly rolled her eyes at the ticket. I heard her say it by the counter, and the two of them just kept laughing about comments made about the drinks they were making, and what people ordered. This is disheartening and very professional and disrespectful of guests when they can be heard snickering and being rude, right in front of everyone. They could use some coaching, or at least tell them to keep the remarks out of listening range of guests. Hopefully it will be better next time, and hopefully the drinks will...
