Blue Mind Coffee Roasting is a hidden gem in Indianapolis! Located at 646 E 38th Street, this coffee shop offers an amazing experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Step inside, and you'll be greeted by the warm and friendly staff, as well as an abundance of natural light pouring in through the large windows.
Note: If you're sensitive to light, consider bringing your sunglasses - it's bright!
Their coffee selection is impressive, with a variety of single-origin and blended options available. The barista will even ask if you prefer a Columbian or Guatemalan drip, giving you the freedom to choose your perfect cup.
Must-Try:
The Butterscotch Latte is a game-changer! Rich, velvety, and with just the right amount of sweetness, this drink is worth every penny (even if it's $7 for a 9oz).
Whole Bean Coffee:
Buying a bag of whole beans comes with a delightful perk - choose between a free cold brew or coffee! However, I'd love to see Blue Mind include the roast level on their bags of coffee. This would help coffee enthusiasts like myself better understand the flavor profile and optimal brewing methods.
They also offer a great selection of pastries and chocolates to pair with your coffee.
What sets Blue Mind apart is their commitment to quality and community. They partner with local coffee shops and owners based on genuine connections, believing in making good coffee for good people.

Not that waiting is an issue when you get sit down coffee, but the place was well staffed. Did not have to wait long even during peak hours. What can I say about the atmosphere thoughâŚ.wow. Iâm not one to usually pay attention to such a thing, but between the colors, use of the space, plants and cleanliness I found it extremely pleasant to sit for awhile even when it was a bit busy. Total hidden gem in the area.
I had a butterscotch latte that they make in house. It was made in a ceramic mug as well. Espresso is exceptionally smooth. No bitterness. I tried multiple pastries and all were great. I believe they source some pastries from Leviathan bake house(could be wrong), which is GREAT considering Leviathan sometimes has less parking or limited seating. (Leviathan is still amazing though). Prices were also pretty reasonable for two people.

Read moreWhat a great find! I was invited here for a meeting and Iâm so glad I was introduced. Iâve driven by this plaza a million times and have never noticed this cute coffee shop tucked inside. You have to plan for if you want a seat as it gets busy and it was 9 am. The lady I met said she arrived around 8:30 and barely got the seat we had! I ordered a ginger snap latte which is a seasonal drink and it was made to perfection! Of course I tweeked it as I added extra espresso and halfed the milk, but the flavor of the actual coffee was amazing! I shouldâve ordered it black because I know I wouldâve been in heaven. The only downside is they only serve one size so if youâre wanting larger youâre going to have to suck it up and order two drinks. Needless to say I will be back and can not wait to try the honey lavender latte I saw on the menu. Also keep in mind parking is behind the building and...
